Why can't all mobile games have ads like this? I don't want to see 30 seconds of a ball bouncing. I want to see 4 minutes of a ball singing about depression.
This is one of those rarer scenario where your watching a video and then you get a ad. Your first instinct is to skip it because it's a ad. But then while your waiting for the skip button to appear, you realize that the ad is good so then you look it up and then here we are.
I'm here about to watch some yt video and all of a sudden this ad pops up. I go wait for 5 seconds to skip but then my ears how much of a BANGER this song is.
A quick run through this music video for curious Touhou fans (THLW storyline)! This music video tells us a story of a lost word incident in a certain Gensokyo where these dolls exist but the name and concept of their puppetmaster is missing. At the beginning of the video at 0:02 there is a red seal crystal that opens up. From this point on, a lonely doll is faintly reminiscing a life with someone familiar yet unidentifiable, and is questioning reality and time. Eventually, at 2:28, the protagonist puppet finds your (i.e the main character of THLW) journal with all the events recorded from all the different timelines... but it is missing someone important. You can see the doll being alone at 2:33 (prologue tea party), 2:38 (Airsoft battle event), 2:42 (Kosuzu Motoori files event) and 2:45 (future event sneak peek). Finally, a blue seal crystal breaks open at 3:29... And things are back to normal... Now, look at 0:34 and 3:58! ᗜˬᗜ This concludes the incident of this particular Gensokyo, where the lost word was Alice, the seven-coloured puppeteer.

Most folks are praising RUclips for giving us this banger of an ad/video and I enjoyed it too. But what most folks either didn't realize or didn't both to point out is it's accurate to the game's plot. The main plot of Lost Word is other Gensokyos are missing a key word that keeps the Gensokyo in check and we need to figure out what it is before it's too late. Alice is somewhat missing from nearly all of the video with small glimpses of the puppeteer being seen through either the dance segments or when Shanghai's "describing" who she's seeing in her dreams. Every other time? It just Shanghai and the other dolls with vague glimpses of Alice here or there. Only making a full appearance near the later half and the ending segments of the video, almost as if *Alice* was *lost* but then was *found.*

The only problem with Mysterious NuclearBirbs theory is that you're introduced to Alice at the beginning of the Story, _after_ your character is released from one of the Seal Crystals. It feels to me more like the story of this Video is of one of the thousands of Dolls 'sacrificed' by Alice somehow survived, but was forgotten by her: "If the Name of something is Forgotten _in Gensoukyo,_ where would it go?" ~Rinnosuke The Goal of Alice Margatroid's work is to create a truly Sentient Doll. What if she had succeeded without realizing and then moved on? All it wants is --her-- its creator's love, but its voice is lost among dozens of others who look exactly like --her-- it. Gradually, affection turns to bitterness, and the measures taken to get Her attention escalates like a jealous child. Until the only thing left is to *force* Her to notice --it-- her...

You have to remember, the Lost Word incidents involve completely different Gensokyos, meaning the Alice in this video probably pulled a Marisa and essentially sacrificed herself just to make a single sentient doll. However, like I said, there are multiple Gensokyos involved in these incidents, who to say the Alice seen in this video hasn't figured out how to make a fully sentient doll. Chances are the doll was already semi-sentient and unknowingly sacrificed Alice's existence like Marisa did to Reimu when that Mysterious Voice gave Marisa her new powers. There are hundreds of thousands of different Gensokyos in existence, each one different from the last. We don't know which variation of Gensokyo the characters in the video are from, speculation is the best we can do so far.
Really love how the "Ari mo shinai story" slowly changes to eventually spell Alice once Shanghai finally remembers. Also love the part with the dolls as paper cutouts, just how bouncy the animation looked in that part makes me smile.
3:27 was a really nice touch, reading as ari moshinai storii but spelt as Alice Mo To Shi O Na Ri I I Edit: To add onto this, every other time it dodged the spelling アリス. At 1:04, it uses the kanji spelling of a. At 2:19, it uses the hiragana spelling of a and storii.
With zero exaggeration, this is the best ad I've ever gotten on RUclips. Not only did I not skip it, I went out of my way to find it again and put it on my music playlist. This is what all ads should aspire to be.
If you lot enjoyed this music, I suggest you look up other various music circles of touhou. All of them are bangers. Shinra-Bansho has a lot of great songs too.
