Colleen - You, obviously, are a smart and creative person. As your kids get older, you may want to reconsider referring to yourself as dumb and instead try to model positive self-talk for them. (You may even start to believe it yourself - like we do!)
I agree! Not even as a role model for the kids but for herself and her mental health. The kids seeing it is just the plus, ya know? Colleen is such a smart beautiful talented woman and she’s always calling herself stupid and dumb and saying I don’t know anything and we all see how much she knows and how smart she is.
i love this comment because it really really hurt my heart anytime my grandma talked down on herself or her looks and i picked it up when i was younger from her. it’s hard but important

My Relax: The feeling of coming home after vacation. I'm not sure if anyone else can relate to this but I recently returned from a week long trip and everything just feels so off! I feel so much more irritated and depressed even though I just had a good beach trip and nothing seemingly has gone wrong. Everything just seems out of place. I hope I am not the only one here.
Wow. My kid feels like this Everytime he comes back. I didn't understand why.

absolutely me. i’ve realized vacation just isn’t enjoyable for me at all.
I have been like this my while life and I'm 41. After every trip, even just a weekend I cry and am very depressed for several days. I absolutely hate it, sometimes it's the let down from being with extended family and friends and then back to alone, but I just think it's part of my depression and anxiety! I almost don't want to go because of how ill feel when I get home.
I’ve had Covid for a week, isolated to my house alone and I described the way I felt mentally to my mom by referencing the “home from vacation” bummed out mood. You’re not alone.

These differences will continue to be more apparent the longer they are together, as triggers come up and tension will build. 36:00 FOR YEARS I have hot glued a 12-14” brightly colored ribbon to every remote I’ve ever owned. It is fantastic and we never lose them. Never!!!! People question it and laugh a little when they see it, but then they realize how amazing it is. Do it! The hot glue can peel right off if you need to change batteries or ribbons.

I used to enjoy these podcasts and they still have funny moments in them, but they are getting so incredibly awkward to watch/listen to... the hosts seem to resent each other and Erik seems drunk. I used to think that this is just funny banter, but it doesn´t feel like that anymore.

I think it’s okay to show arguments as long as they also show the loving, understanding part. Arguments are a part of a relationship and are important to show children. Children should see that some arguments never get resolved but can come to an agree to disagree resolution. As long as there is respect and communication, I personally don’t see a problem with it.

Whoa! These comments need to relax. I agree there is a bit of tension but I don't think it is as bad as everyone is Commenting. They have 3 small kids and they are tired and stressed and are being real people and let's face it no one is happy and pleasant all the time. They are real people even though they are in the public eye I like how real and honest they are with each other and have no filters when it comes to each other. It doesn't mean they should break up or get divorced. Stop being judgey people! They love each other and they're family but life gets hard and they both struggle with mental illness and these rude comments won't help with anything! My relax this week is curly hair!
As much as I love having curly hair, the amount of effort that goes into stying it is crazy! I know you generally straighten/curl your hair Colleen, but do you have any ways to style your natural curls?
Completely in agreement. I LOVE my curls. But, girl! The tiniest bit of humidity and it frizzes right up. The amount of leave in conditioner I have to use just to defrizz is re-donk-ulous smh 😂😂 This is such a good relax

I found a way of mixing the separated nut butters without using a utensil. Just make sure the lid is on tight and shake the separation out of it. :)

A tip for tiny remotes that always get lost!! Tape it to a rubber spatula or some kitchen utensil that doesn’t get used, much harder to lose🙃
I find it so funny that I didn’t notice any bad vibes from this episode and everyone seems so pissed. Guys… we do not actually know them even if we listen every week or watch vlogs every day. This could be just how they interact. My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and we sometimes get into a snarky mood where we bicker but it’s all fun and games at the end of the day and we love each other very much. Please don’t assume the worst. I feel like some of these comments are pretty mean as well… Isn’t it funnier to listen to them banter than listening to them being all lovey dovey for 1,5 hours?
My god i agree so much!!! I am convinced these are all kids or people who have never been in a serious relationship commenting. This is so normal its not even funny. And this is literally ONE hour of ONE day a week that we see. Having kids is stressful. Having twins is even more stressful they are tired and irritable for good reason. Me and my boyfriend don't even have kids and argue more than them haha

I've been feeling for a long time that Erik wishes that Colleen is more affective towards him, everytime she says something kinda cute he Is always so surprised, like she doesn't says anything nice in a regular bases, but he Is so nice to her, he always tries to make her feel special, but she is so used to it that she stopped caring.
In her vlogs she's always saying how he's the best dad and husband in the world so, I think that might just be his humour.

For uncontrollably, you can do uncontrollablih and finish off at the very last second with an e sound before going into the oo’s. It makes the word more intelligible but you still have a comfortable vowel to sing on 🧡

Colleen and Erik❤️ I hope you’ll see this!! Everyone in the comments is being pretty nasty… (even tho I understand their intentions might be in the right place). I want you to know that I truly enjoy your vibe together, and your opinions as individuals, and actually loved the last few podcasts because they were so real. When you were both briefly singing in this episode the energy between you two was so beautiful. I’m an hsp, an empath witch with adhd so I do notice so many subtleties in people it’s sometimes overwhelming. I think people focus on things between you they deem as negative or things they don’t know or understand but please don’t let that get into you at all! Do you. Period.
