I’ve just accepted a position as a merchandise execution manager and this video has given me so much clarity and a good idea of what I’m going to be walking into so thank you so much for that 🙂
I got offered a visual manager position at my job ( Dillards) and omggg im excited but its a department store and im in charge of the whole store its crazy to me but I’ve been watching a lot of videos and yours have helped so muchhh
Thank you so much for these videos on visual merchandising! 🥰🙌🏻 I have been binge watching them today as I’m preparing to step into the role this year. They were so informative! Thank you again! ☺️
It varies! Depending on the company you work for and the state you’re in, it can range from 40k-53k a year. But do your research, especially with companies! 😊
Thanks for your reply. I have an interview tomorrow ( customer assistant - visual stylist) so was wondering if it’s the same. 🤔just watching your vids for some useful tips ✌🏻
Typically, no. If the visual team is working on displays, then that is our top priority. This also depends on how big your team is too, retail and visual. If it's smaller, than you might have to help out more. As far as weekends go, we rotate and take turns on who has to work them. It's all an even balance. :)

What attire to wear when you applying for job sales merchandiser?
I would say business casual, definitely not like jeans and a tank top lol. Semi formal & professional looking 😊 I’ve worn slacks and a nice blouse.

So is merchandising just designing stores?
Yes and no, cause you're not designing the physical store itself but planning the layout of products within the store.
Do you have to be good at math?? Im not really good at math
Definitely not, I'm terrible at math 😂
Thank you 🔥❤️

Do you have to help customers while you’re doing updates? Or are you solely working on the visual? Also, do you work weekends often?
