Carson needs to learn how to run better! Stetson would have been able to convert many first downs with his legs and he was able to lead Georgia to two national championship! The age of one dimensional quarterback is over. In order to win national championship, you need a mobile quarterback who can run and throw well. The biggest difference between Jalen Milroe and Carson Beck is mobility!

All the Beck hate he made the throw in the first qtr...he made the check to the wr screen...he definitely didn't have his best game but he did enuff to win
That last interception was a throw that Young was brought here to get kinda like the way Williams got the ball and scored on that last Milroe throw

I love Georgia, but damn. We have the worst fans after a loss. We played a great team, and we made some mistakes that cost us. We came back to take a lead after being down 28-0. It is what it is. This season is far from over. Yall are spoiled disney dawgs.
When your QB is responsible for 4 TURNOVERS he's earned that criticism. Several things could've been avoided. This is supposed to be our leader.

Man shut the hell up ain’t no one spoiled..we’re tired of sloppy performances in big games like this. Only twice have we ever come out emotionally and mentally prepared for a full 60 mins (TCU and Oregon and maybe that Tenn game a couple years ago) yea we got two natty’s but consistently Georgia does this. we are 9-2 vs bama bc they always play lackadaisical in one of the halves.
It ain’t just Beck either. We had 0 run game and he had to throw the ball 50 times. His receivers didn’t help much early on either. We had several drops and pressure was staying in his face

It's just hard for Kirby to recruit 5☆ receivers. He has to get guys that are overlooked. Much love for the WR group, but somebody has to catch the ball. TE might as well not be there. Just put in an extra tackle and go with that. Keep your head up, Beck. There's going to be another chance.

I never expected them to win, so I don't really have a lot of complaints, but that last pass was completely unnecessary. He didn't have to throw it to the end zone. They had the time and downs left to try some short passes or running plays before they tried that. It's understandable to lose because of lack of skill compared to the other team, but it's really sad to lose over something that was within your control like where to throw the ball.
I agree totally don’t understand why they tried to get it all on that one play why not use up the rest clock walk it down there and score reminds me of the daddy bull with son bull vs the heifers in pasture why run down there get one when you can go slow get all the clock and win

Just got back to our hotel in Tuscaloosa. I love Carson but he choked when the game was on the line! With 2 timeouts on their 20 you NEVER throw across the field to the end zone. It’s a low percentage throw and the ball is in the air a long time! I think we’ll be fine but Carson deserves criticism…..as does our first half defense! I call a spade a spade! HBTD

Beck is a good QB, he’s not a game changer or an elite QB, the offense could use more playmakers and when you don’t have an elite QB or playmakers that’s not a good sign for the offense
He’s elite. Not quite at Milroe’s level but still probably top 5 if not top 3.
What’s elite about him? His arm strength is average, accuracy is good but inconsistent, his decision making is inconsistent, an elite QB is someone who will go out there and carry your team to a win and make minimal mistakes, not have 4 turnovers and throw the game losing int, he isn’t a top 10 QB in college football either

Beck is a good player but the game was over at halftime but Bama let up and playing safe almost cost them a win.
No, halftime adjustments almost completely shut him down. The Beck fumble allowed them 3 points, and that 1 long pass after we came back and took the lead was all he mustered the 2nd half. 😊
