    Fantastic solution! Could the light clip be fastened to the ceiling and the timber slotted into it? Thank you.

      Hi, probably not, ceilings are almost always plaster or emulsion paint and I do not think the clips will stick, maybe if ceiling is varnished timber or gloss paint. Test the idea first! Best of luck.

    that's a very good trick, I have a problem with the size, they always come in the same size and my window is 15 cm bigger, how can I fit it without looking ugly and serving its purpose

    Thank you for referring me to this video. What a great idea and those Command clips are so nifty. Your method provides a similarly easy way to install and remove the blinds as the brackets that come with IKEA's Hoppvals cellular blinds. When you reused the blind in this video, I assume you cut off the top pleat that had previously been stuck to the window with the original double sided tape?

      Yes I cut off the top pleat. cleaned off the glue residue and then fitted the hooks. Best of luck!

    I have a question. When it is night and the light is on inside, can you see the inside of the house from the outside?
    I have a window to the street and that is very important to me. Your clips are great. Greeting.

      I had a look in through mine last night, you cant see through them, tho you can see shadows thrown onto the blind and the light coming through. Hope this helps. If you want to be very private I would suggest trying the schottis black out blinds which are lightproof. (tho black). Good luck and thank you for the nice comment.

    What thickness is the beading you are using? The link no longer works so I haven't a clue of the thickness to fit inside the command hooks

    I have bought these blinds to fit on my conservatory ceiling. 2 portions are right/ left-angled triangular shaped. How should I cut the pleats to get a sharp line?

    Which command clip is it? I can’t tell

    • @thestonecraftingworkshop7490
      @thestonecraftingworkshop7490  3 года назад

      Hi Sarah, they are labelled "Command™ Outdoor Light Clips 17017CLR-AW". They are clear plastic, the back plate is approx 25mm wide and 16mm high. The hook is approx 12mm wide. You can see them here: Command™ Outdoor Light Clips Value Pack 17017CLR-AW
      Curiously I could not find these on Amazon so maybe there are supply problems at the moment. Best of luck with this.
