Fun fact: A collision similar to this occurred with to freight trains at a junction, where instead one train collided into the side of the other traveling opposite directions.

@@tellmetodeletemijncomment I'm uncertain of which specific incident it was, but one train was using the turn part of the junction as another on the straight headed the opposite direction into the junction, the front of the second train hit many cars of the first

Samuels I think you mean the Kismet collision, did one train hit train cars at the back of a train or was it a head on collieion with one train going to the siding and one coming right at it
