As long as Aron Szilágyi can attend, my bets are on Aron.
Awesome to see, how far Colin and his brother have come.

Yep it’s too fast for everyone I think that he sure can place for the 8 but I know he’ll do better of that!

Wow. Just speechless. Not even quite sure what it is about his style that is so effective. It's not like he's the tallest or fastest, he just makes ALL the right decisions with pretty flawless timing/execution. Mind boggling. Meta-game master.

His blade control, and his footwork. These two things in tandem are his greatest strengths, specifically his ability to change directions on a dime, that is rare in modern saber.

He also may be the fastest but everything you said rings true otherwise

Plenty to look at in both attack and defence. He's got a nice long attack, a nice riposte and a very solid counterattack-blockout. He's got a really nice surprise duck-quinte option as well, but by far his distance pull is the best element, he's chaging direction so quickly it's impossible for his opponent to react. The hand speed and fast decision making makes it really hard to deal with. Great athleticism as well. He's definitely in the group that CAN win.

I just watched him fence in the 2024 Seoul Grand Prix where he tied for 3rd place. He is truly amazing!

Seeing the AI upscale makes me really wish that the FIE could budget some 60fps cameras.

    Dear Slicer,
Cool video of fencing. This video would be better with another song or perhaps just turning the one you have down so we can focus on what we are here for. The fact that you can still here the touches and the sounds of the blades and footwork is good. The clips of each touch should start a bit before the actual "allez" so we can see them come onto guard. There are a lot of really great touches to see here but with the fast paced music and the quick start between each one it makes this video harder to enjoy for those of us here only for fencing and not a cool video of fencing.
