I have this mouse and practically every worthwhile mouse being released and while it's a very good mouse, it's not a 'GPX killer' by anybody's stretch of imagination. The GPX has replaceable hot-swappable PCBs, and a slew of aftermarket parts. Chances are the people that are buying this mouse already have a GPX, already have several Razers, have maybe an Atlantis, Finalmouse and a slew of other mice. It's definitely a top five and one of the best mice for 2022.
And no, I don't give a rip whether or not something's great out of the box or not. I look at the mouse's potential. If you're this far into mice, you know exactly what I'm saying.
What I'd like to see is someone like Logitech mass produce a carbon fiber mouse under 50g, use side buttons similar to Finalmouse, hot swappable or replaceable PCBs, and ideally a kit with several different switches, (encoders if possible), a top DPI button and different skates. Coupled by software that isn't as obnoxious as Razer. That's worth $200+ to me.
Yeah the killer stuff is just for the title. I think its an excellent choice, and a good different alternative to the GPX, not a complete sweep.
@@ZXTech .. I would agree with that statement and I use the X2 quite a bit; It's kind of a cross between a Finalmouse and a GPX .. but something about its "feeling" to "me" is still lacking. A lot of "it" ("great vs good vs rest") has to do with control from the shape and by that I mean relative to your hand size and grip style. To add to my little list above, I would love to see a mouse that would give you 3D printable editable templates.
Simply changing the skates and a mouse pad can completely change how a mouse feels and works. There's a ton of variables. You can have the best PC on the planet and if you have a lousy input it's game over. I think people that are top tier players understand this.
Anyway, I know you get what I'm saying. Good video. Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks! I do love the X2, but it feels a little off in some parts thats for sure. A 3d printable mouse will be very interesting
I have the x2v2 mini and the medium sized x2v2. I prefer the mini, but both are good. I wish there was a size in between them
X2h mini?
@@ZXTech I haven't tried the x2h mini, as I feel like I wouldn't like it. I use the x2v2 mini as my main at the moment. The x2h hump is way in the back, which I don't think I would prefer
@mikerzisu9508 tbh the x2h hump is about the same position as the x2, just higher
@@ZXTech really. It seems like it is more fatter and wider, and much more shifted to the back
@mikerzisu9508 definitely wider, but the bump is starts and ends the same place. I guess u cld say the peak of the hump is a lil further back tho
