For the last year I have been on the fence about buying this synth. This video and specifically your patches convinced me to buy this synth. Thank you!

Finally some awesome contemporary sounds on the P10. Got so sick of all the 80s sound demovideos.

1:04 and 10:11 hit straight in the feels - great patches! Are these recorded dry or with FX?

@@NickSemrad this thing sounds so alive with no FX, and its mono output. Amazing work :)

is there a tutorial for installing these?

Included with the pack are some instructions. There are a few different ways to do it, but the way that I prefer is to download one of the free "Sysex" programs (I use "SysEx Librarian" for Mac), drag these programs into the Librarian, connect your P5 to your computer, choose it as a source in the Librarian, and then press "Play" on the Librarian. More in-depth instructions included with the pack, though, if needed.

thanks for these incredible patches, is there a way to save them over 311-onwards? so they don't get in the way of the j3po patches?

I think the quickest/best way is to use the Soundtower editor, and then I believe that you can upload them wherever you want on your board. Hope that helps!

The intro was the best bit. Not bad but given the sounds that Thom Yorke and James Blake have made with their P5's, it's a shame to see yet another set of nice but basic presets for Jamiroquai fans. Please make a pack of presets that sound modern and not like everyone else please.

      Thank you for your suggestion.

I think James Blake uses a Prophet 8 Rev 2 and Thom Yorke uses both a P8 and P5 so it could be that some of the more “modern” sounds you hear them make are actually coming from a Prophet 8

Radiohead's classic song "Everything in its Right Place" was made on a Prophet 5.@@francisco7177

This might be one of the worst opinions I've ever heard haha. It's all about what you do with the presets. If it's not your cup of tea then that's fine, but that's on you
