Fun fact! The first sung melody of this song "Ongaku no kikakke wa nandakke" Has the same melody of the bridge in "Deep Indigo." The part that goes "Jinsei wa dakyou no renzoku nanda." This is a common theme throughout the entire plagiarism album: Chorus of Prostitution(春ひさぎ) comes from the opening melody of "Ame Haruru|After the Rain|雨はるる) Flower Badger Game(Hanamotase|花人局)'s opening melody comes from the opening melody of "Elma(エルマ)" Thought Crime(思想犯) is a homage to 1984 In Replicant(レプリカント) the prechorus(starting from itsuka sekai ga matomo ni natte)'s rhytmn is the same as the rhythmn of the bridge in A Hole in My Heart(心に穴が空いた)(starting from Kimi no Jinsei ni naritai). In the same song, the final chorus talks about the blue sky, a kind of reference to Deep Indigo(藍二乗) In Night Journey(Yakou|夜行) there's a two-note melody before the chorus begins right after suis finishes singing. A direct reference to the same two-note melody before the chorus begins in "In June, I Write About a Rainy Town|六月は雨上がりの街を書く) Im not so sure about Ghost In tbe Flower(花に亡霊) but I feel as though the general message and progression of the lyrics is similar to Clouds and the Spirit(雲と幽霊) In their song Midday Thief(昼鳶) theres a line saying "What a beautiful life. So, how much does that happines cost?" This is a reference to the song Songwriting and Coffee(詩書きとコーヒー) which has a line saying "The price of happiness is 60000 yen. Minus the rent, it's 4000 yen." I like that for an album called plagiarism, they took alot of melodies from their old songs.
As a song titled 'Plagiarism', the piano melody at 6:55 is copied from Gymnopédie No.1. Many more examples in the album, songs inspired by literature, instrument songs rearranged from classic pieces, etc. Amazing how n-buna 'executed' the concept in the concept album.
It's more of another storyline where one of the characters does plagiarize with his PoV in the album Plagiarism and onether PoV in a shorter album Creation all with a novel that goes more in detail on the story but a lot can be grasped with the MV of Thoughtcrime and Spring Thief.
I don't think those instruments, speakers, metronomes, cassettes, and records were sacrificed for no reason. They died making an impact. A piano is a thing of beauty. When you watch piano guts raining down from the sky, it leaves a dent in you. And I think that's what n-buna wants. His lyrics say he feels like a thief, a plagiarist, and fraud. He's destroying music, and we're all idiots for cheering him on while he does it. It'll be a relief once he's exposed, and he loses the respect and admiration. But I don't think it'll happen. n-buna is a seriously talented artist, not just some hack hiding behind an amazing vocalist (and Suis is definitely amazing). His music speaks for itself. It connects with people, not just because it's technically brilliant, but because we can feel how genuine it is. No one can steal that.

Btw the lyrics on this song is also Plagiarized by nbuna from some songs who talk about their plagiarism. Very cool
Also thats why the lyrics is so random at times because its not stolen from just one song, but multiple and this was made.
Also the melody, the piano the bass everything is also recycled from Nbuna's old song. The song just sound genuine. Its a very genius song.

The notes in the description of this MV is mind-blowing
