I agree that Wang Yabin is an excellent dancer, and that she definitely deserves credit, but in Zhang Ziyi's defense, the actress was trained as a folk and classical dancer at Beijing Dance Academy before an agent recruited her after seeing her perform at a dance competition.
yeah, her slim body did make the dance more graceful the dance itself is not that hard the hardest part is how to control the "water sleeves" i am glad to hear that you can dance like that too!

However, Wang and also another male dancer did the technical and reverse parts. Together they three made the whole dance scene. In my oppinion, this piece was only a scenario, the original choreography. (hope my poor English could somehow explain your doubt. Unfortunally i don't think we can find any useful information from the endling list.)

The one in the movie looks very little like this (I did a comparison) and looks technically simpler. Even if Zhang Ziyi wasn't a talented dancer, the movie version should be well within her abilities. There was also only one short cut in this dance that was too far away to see her face, all other scenes were too close, and that cut looked like something even I can do XD
Only the difficult part of the choreo was done by stunt dancers. and there were two dancers, Wang Yabin was just one of them, the other one was a male dancer who did the split jump because Zhang couldn't jump as high. Most part of the choreo was done by Zhang herself, I mean, if anyone know anything about Chinese classical dance, he/she can find a huge difference in 身韵 of dances in the movie.
Subtle thing, but around/after 1:00, the way she's using her feet while walking is so nifty --keeeping them in the air ever so slighly before she steps makes it look like she's treading the air. =D

In addition, it's a disadvantage for movie makers to hire a dancer (Wang Yabin) when their actor Zhang Ziyi was a dancer. I can understand for movie makers to hire a stunt double so that their actors are not injured. I tried researching who did the dance numbers but can't find any...maybe I'll check the movie's ending credits.

Zhang Ziyi IS a dancer but in reality in show business particular motion picture you are a lead actor in the movie you still need a stunt , if you do everything by your self you will be injured easily, accident happens that means delaying the production. What come after? you know.
