@@davidmahady8241 Most youtube golfers are very guilty of this. I like Garret and Grants attitude, as a mental focus where they think everything goes in. I believe that's the right mindset. It has helped me a lot not worrying about bad shots and enjoying the good ones. In particular Rick Shiels and Peter Finch are always negative about most shots even if they arent really that bad.
George saying that "It's not about how good your good shots are, it's about how good your bad shots are" is so true. Call it what you want, consistency or whatever, that's what golf is. That's why getting fit for clubs can be so much of a benefit, because they'll fit you into clubs that help you "miss better".
Micah, you could maybe try playing a couple rounds where you add 5-10 yards onto every yardage on your approaches just to get some reps in seeing the ball get past the pin. Might make you more comfortable with getting it past or to the hole. Just an idea. Great content! Keep it coming

If you find your camera fogged just shove the lens onto your stomach it will defog a lot faster! Awesome video as always it feels like forever since we have seen george!
I think Pursell Farms needs to be to GoodGood what the Masters is to the PGA. There is a major there every year and its probably the biggest one each year. Love this place.
Serious question what could be your best advice for an average golfer ? Let’s say set up, club selection, stance from ball, body movement from setup to swing and what ball to use ? And how important a range finder is once you figure out your distance of your clubs.
I don’t think he’s gonna answer this so here ya go bud. Mechanics, go get lessons. If you want to do it yourself, Padraig Harrington has a YT channel with great instructions. But get lessons. Ball, depends on your game and wallet. Cheap less spinny balls, like Noodles, or maxfli straights, can actually be better for beginners because they’ll go straighter. Golftec lessons come with indoor practice with a good launch monitor that you can use to dial in equipment/balls. Range finder, get one. It will help you learn your distances and even if you do know them, it will keep you dialed in.

And there is a private course 5 min from my house you should try getting in to play Willow Point Golf Course and they are building another one called Wicker Point it was designed by bill coore and Ben Crenshaw
