에코랜드 테마파크는 1800년대 증기기관차 볼드윈 기종을 모델화하여 영국에서 수제품으로 제작된
링컨 기차로 30만평의 곶자왈 원시림을 기차로 여행하는 테마파크입니다.
에코랜드 테마파크가 위치한 곳은 교래 곶자왈로 지하수 함양은 물론 보온, 보습 효과가 높아
북방한계식물과 남방한계식물이 공존하는 신비의 숲이라고 하네요.
용암의 바위 위에 처절하고 치열한 생명의 힘으로 바위를 덮고 하늘을 막아
동식물의 낙원으로 만든 숲의 위대함을 느낄 수 있으며
4.5km의 기차여행을 즐기는 동안 신비의 숲 곶자왈에서 서식하는 곤충과 동물 그리고
다양한 식물을 관찰할 수 있어 자연이 우리에게 주는 무한한 혜택을 체험할 수 있는 공간입니다.
시발역이자 종착역인 메인역을 출발하여 에코브리지역에서 내려 호수 위에 설치된 수상데크로
다음 역까지 여유롭게 이동하며 에코랜드 호텔을 비롯한 주변의 아름다운 풍경을 감상할 수 있으며
돈키호테 기마상과 풍차 등 볼거리를 즐긴 후 레이크사이드역에서 승차하여 다음역으로 이동합니다.
이와 같은 방식으로 피크닉가든역, 라벤더-그린티&로즈가든역으로 이동하여 역의 특성에 따라 마련된
각 역의 볼거리를 즐기고 편의 시설 등을 이용한 후 시발역이자 종착역인 메인역에 도착하면 끝나는
여유롭고 온가족이 즐길 수 있는 인상적인 투어로 강력 추천하고 싶네요.
메인역(Main Station)
도넛모양의 에코랜드 메인역은 에코랜드 열차의 시작역이자 종착역으로
매표소, 대합실, 스낵바, 레스토랑, 기념품샵, 중앙분수대 광장 등 다양한 시설을 갖추고 있습니다.
건물을 순환하는 미니기차는 또 하나의 볼거리라고 하네요.
에코브리지역(Ecobridge Station,)
에코브리지역은 2만여평 규모의 호수 줄기에 300m의 수상데크가 설치되어 있어
마치 호수 위를 걷는 듯한 느낌이 드는 이국적인 코스입니다.
다음 역까지 도보로 이동하면서 에코랜드 호텔 풍경과 호수에 떠있는 섬들을 감상하며
가족이 함께 여유로운 시간을 보낼 수 있는 곳이네요.
레이크사이드역(Lakeside Station)
레이크사이드역은 예전에 말을 길렀던 초지로 당초의 지형을 그대로 이용하여 만든
호수를 감상할 수 있으며 돈키호테의 멋진 풍차가 있는 이국적인 역입니다.
물 위에서 즐기는 신나는 범퍼보드, 낭만 가득한 페달 카약 등 수상 레저체험과
풍차, 억새 가득한 삼다정원과 포토존이 숨겨진 동백나무숲 등 다양한 볼거리를 제공하고 있네요.
피크닉가든역(Picnic Garden Station)
드넓게 펼쳐진 금잔디에서 피크닉을 즐길 수 있는 곳입니다.
이 역에는 어린이들이 뛰어노는 '키즈타운' 과 동화 속 요정의 집 '그라스 하우스',
에코랜드에서만 체험할 수 있는 곶자왈 숲 길 '에코로드' 가 있다고 하네요.
라벤더-그린티&로즈가든역(Lavender-Greentea & Rose Garden Station)
이 역에서는 계절별 다양한 꽃이 가득한 유럽식 정원, 라벤더 밭 등
자연이 주는 아름다움과 더불어 각양각색의 다양한 기차를 바라보며 즐기는
사계절 노천 족욕탕, 푸른 초원 위 말을 감상할 수 있는 목장산책로 등
몸과 마음이 힐링이 되는 시간을 가질 수 있는 곳입니다.
