Nice trip thanks to Atlura for helping Yako get to Altura...An adventure is leaving your comfort zone and getting out on to roads unknown. Yako yellow 💛
Thanks George. I really appreciate your unstinting support. Do you know this vid has lost me subscribers? Do you know why that might be? I sit too close to see if I’m doing things wrong…
Excellent ride very well done, always enjoy your videos as they are very interesting and informative, lovely the beautiful old Olive trees. Have a wonderful weekend.
So many good things in this video. I had to laugh about the wrong turns, been there done that. In my early days of road racing I had an advantage a couple times, knowing the route when many of my competitors did not. They ended up heading in the wrong direction and I cruised in for a high placing.
Yes, well these wrong turns were just a bit infuriating! What you describe did happen in a vid I did “An Epic Ride?”, have you seen that one? Got lost and loved it! Thanks Greg.
oh Leon, yes. 12 or more. Yes, I’m heavy but it’s not (just) that. there was a fault with the original x35 hub, improved with the later x35+ and eradicated with the new X20. You?
@@yakoridesagain Yes, I just recently had one on my Ribble Endurance SL e, luckily no damage to the hub flange. Also to my surprise the wheel was still as true as an arrow, so managed to finish my ride with no issues (after removing it from the nipple).
Wonderful adventure! Love all the history, too. Amazing ancient olive trees! I didn't know they lived that long. Many best wishes.
Glad you enjoyed it VS!

Glad you enjoyed it - part 2 is out and…bigger.

Ha! Yes, a little local knowledge would have helped on this one…I just hope I have all of the footage for day 2 - it was a disaster!
Good work young man, can't wait till Monday
Glad, Richard! Hope it’s good. The ride certainly was but I had some camera issues…
A real adventure 🙂
I just kept getting lost. Part 2 was so much worse!
Looks like such a fun adventure!! Even with the wrong turns. I've found wrong turns have often taken me to some cool sights. Good Work!!

Are you still going to the Orbea factory to test ride the new 2023 gain? Love you blogs 😊
Thanks Linda. They say yes; just waiting for some dates!
Man you have some nice narrow surfaced roads up there.
I found one the next day Neil that had terrible gravel either side of this 2km stretch of perfection. no idea what it was doing there.
Yakoesque? now I am tempted to use the term Bubbaesque! Great vid bud!
cheers Bub! just about to settle down for your hike!
@@yakoridesagain thanks brother
really enjoyed that
I'm glad Pat. Thanks for the support.
Yep.
Ok? A bit dull though?
Have you suffered any broken spokes in your rear wheel Gareth?
