Three Amigos! and a plethora of watches. My favorite part is the Singing Bush and the chant to summon The Invisible Swordsman. Steve Martin’s line about filling El Guapo full of lead was great too!
I have the Orient Bambino Gen.4 dark granite grey dial with gold indices, leather strap. A crazy good looking watch. It looks hundreds $ more than it cost. Bambinos are great watches.
Very cool and I would call it far from useless knowledge. 😉 Orient: We are releasing two limited edition Bambinos. Marc: How many are you releasing? Orient: Yes.
I really wish more affordable brands would use manual winding movements for dress watches. Sure they're probably not preferred by the general public but I don't know how many people in the general public have even heard of Orient anyways. At least in the US, maybe in the East they're known.
Watch sales figures for date vs no date versions of the same versions make it clear that most buyers prefer to have a date. I agree with you in principle but thems the reason
Mark, i bought in 2023 one of the 4 bambinos 360 pieces limited in creme. There was also a baby blue one RA-AC0M06L. Do you know if there any difference (except the strap) to this new blue one? tnx :-)
This LE edition (mostly the “baby blue”) at that size pushes me to (finally) pull the trigger on a Bambino. Nice to see that Orient is listening to their customers. Thanks for sharing Marc! 😊
@islandwatch A no date Bambino. What do you think? You made us the SKX. You could make us the no date Bambino. Maybe start a poll to see if there is interest.
Three Amigos, my friend. I see you too are a man of culture.
Yes!!!!!!!!
Oh look, a sweater!! In Mexico!!
One for each other and all for one. The Three Bambinos are we...
I wish they made no date versions
Same
Maybe the budget pure dress watch market isn't big enough for them to be interested
Y Seiko SARB033 has a date with a metal surround. I would never give that up for a no date version.
No complaints here.
I wish they made them 35mm with 20mm lugs and no date.
We all have wishes :(
Minty! 😊 Ice cream vibes.
The Bambino is a classic. Love mine. Thanks Marc
thanks!
I wish they would make a bambino with numerals around the whole dial and no date window
Maybe that's rev 15 !!!
They do make with roman numerals all around, not arabic tho...
I just got the 38 mm gen 7 in dark green. Absolutely beautiful dial. Will you be making a bracelet for the 38 mm versions?
No plans, however any 20mm mesh bracelet will work, and there are some curved ends.
@islandwatch Thanks, Marc. Keep up the amazing work, Happy Holidays to you and yours! 👍🏼
That blue, I'd call it robin's egg. Lovely as all get out.
Three Amigos! and a plethora of watches. My favorite part is the Singing Bush and the chant to summon The Invisible Swordsman. Steve Martin’s line about filling El Guapo full of lead was great too!
such memories!
Thanks for the video, Marc. I like both, LOL!
Haha, I think we're all going to need a couple!

It is indeed a great watch!
Very cool and I would call it far from useless knowledge. 😉
Orient: We are releasing two limited edition Bambinos.
Marc: How many are you releasing?
Orient: Yes.
LOL. That's about it.
Marc, if you have the 42mm version in blue, I will buy it.
El Guapo, what is eh plethora? 😋
A more appropriate quote from the film might be, "Can I have your watch when you are dead?"
A dilemma for Friday: Would you rather have a stock Seiko Cocktail Time (your preferred variant), or an Orient Bambino with a domed sapphire crystal?
wow and peace be upon you sir from me
thank you.
Marc does Orient have an in-house movement analogous to the NH38? I can't remember ever seeing a dateless Orient watch, maybe ever.
Just an open heart movement.

3:59 Love this one
I like the cream version.
I wish they made a hand wound movement.
Monarch!!!!!
Ok el wapo!!
yes!!!!

I do think it's just the strap. They look very similar otherwise.
@@islandwatch 👍
Hey Marc is your longisland squale montauk collection limited?
no, not in the LE sense.
Three Amigos ?
yup!
This LE edition (mostly the “baby blue”) at that size pushes me to (finally) pull the trigger on a Bambino.
Nice to see that Orient is listening to their customers.
Thanks for sharing Marc! 😊
thanks so much!
Both watches like chess clock.
FIRST! Love you Mwaaaark
You are too kind!
I bought the version two bambino with the cream dial, ended up giving it away to my wife's nephew. regret.
Cheaper labor - richer management.
Honestly cant see spending over 3 bills for a bambino you can get for 150
No worries, thanks for checking it out!

maybe!
Interesting color options 👌🏼👌🏼 36 to 40mm is perfect in this case.
Yes indeed!
I would call that first one Teal, not blue.
noted!
I have no Bambinos, no pinatas and have no idea what 'plethora' means.
