No but I am going to make one soon. In the meantime you can hit me up on instagram and I can do my best to walk you through it with pictures I took @djdholirajan
Actually good catch, I realized after I set everything up I forgot about the speakers. But when I have the speakers next to me (75% of the time), I plug it into the rack for power and audio. In this case I was off to the side but speakers were centered to the dancefloor so I just ran an Xlr and daisy chained

Nice work! I'm making something similar. What bag do you have for the Alto speaker? I have the same one but can't find the slip cover anywhere for purchase
Looks great. But just a question with today technology why have all that extra power conditioning for Seems like extra weight when there are more smaller and. Wireless things. To bring now
Great question. I normally have my speakers next to me at most events, where I would plug in lights and speakers into the conditioner. This was one where I had to be off to the side so I used the rack for just mics and mixer I also use the rack for ceremonies where I use two speakers as well, and it’s easier to just run it to the conditioner With a healthy outlast I can monitor the amps being used and voltage being dropped and allowed volume if needed before a circuit trip
Wasn’t really going for something super compact, but versatile instead. My compact set up is an srt with a 1u coffin and mics inside with no mixer. I use that for smaller events. For bigger events, the 8 minutes it takes to set this up doesn’t bother me, I show up 4 hrs early I thought about castors, but we do stages at hotels often so I wanted something that can be carried. I also use the rack only for ceremonies. And the thing is almost $9k, I didn’t want to have another one just for reception. Hence why it’s not all built in And I wanted the top to be separate bc when I do outdoor events, I don’t want to put the folding stand on grass and dirty it up. In those cases, I’ll use my folding table instead
Nice work building unit ! That cable snake makes it look more difficult than it needs to be and that looks like lots of rack mount power strips and a conditioner that could be eliminated for a power strip mounted in rack.
Not the lightest bc of all the stuff going on, but very manageable However, I do have an srt in a flight case for smaller events. This furniture comes out for the fancier and pricier events
Nice design. Could save some time if you routed a small channel in the bottom of the top part so the bottom sits exactly where you need it. Doesn’t have to be more than 1/4 in. Could go 1/2 and would help lock them together to be sturdier.
Thanks! I was going to go down this route but wanted an option to put it on a raised table if I ever have to do something outdoors, so I ended up with the front mount
If this works for you great but that looks like such a faff 😅😅 and I don't get this video, the guy holding camera asks if he should speak and is told not to so as the viewer we don't get to understand any benefits of this booth at all, just looks so heavy and inconvenient, not for me if you're selling them, still don't get the point to this video ✌️👌
super clean & and nice video
Thank you!

Great setup ,Where do plug in the speakers? In the rack below or from the snake box by the Rev7?

Thanks! It’s the Rockville 8 inch speaker tote, works well with the tx308 and the ts408

At that point it might as well be on castors and roll it in. Theres nothing compact about that. Its not like you are going to travel that in your SUV.

Also it is 100% suv friendly. But like I said I have another set up if I’m not bringing the trailer so it doesn’t really matter to me
Thanks for sharing. Great Job.

Lol yeah it is. I also got one of the cable backwards so it looks all tangled. Need to redo it with custom cable lengths inside of a loom
Clean setup!

I don’t, this is just something I made and wanted to share to other djs who may want to do something similar

A correctly shot 16:9 video would've allowed us to see everything better but great setup nonetheless!
I should have coordinated with my camera guy better! He is a younger guy and is used to reels and insta type of media

Not selling the booth, just showing other diy-ers some ideas. Sorry this video pissed you off so much, maybe grab a snickers
