    very creative!!!! my question: some lithium barreries are for 3,8 V nominal, 18650 have 3,7V: could that be a problem??

      a difference between 0.10v is not a big problem, it is ok to use with it.

    Thanks!! I was looking for this to make a rechargable torch. My question is, How long does a single 18650 battery needs to full charge, and how will we know if it is full charged or not?

      this circuit will auto cut when battery charge is full, but there is not indication of battery full , as it is made for those who doesn't have parts lying around him, and also making this is very cheap, charging time will vary according to the battery mah, you can leave it at charging for 1-3 hours it will not damage the battery.

    Will this work on new devices that has fast charge tech? I like to try this but having doubts co'z fast charging android battery bms can go upto 12v 3amp..

      fast charging works when the battery is in the phone, when the battery is out of the phone, fast charging will not work, the bms is given to protect from over charge, discharge and deep dis charge.

      battery ke capacity ke according, 2-3 hours, 1-hour me bhi ho skat hai , agar battery ka mah 1000mah ya usse kam hai.

      its too many, connect them according to the battery mah, for example, if u have taken out that kit from a 4000mah battery then u can connect upto 4000mah battery, or connect 4- 1000mah battery in parallel.

    Этот способ зарядки придумали ещё давно и я его проверял он убивал все аккумуляторы за 4 зарядки из за того что эта схема заряжает аккумуляторы очень быстро

      Usually 0.7V drops

      No, in4007 drops 0.50 to 0.47 volts that means from 5v the battery will get 4.50v that's sufficient to charge

      2 In4007 diode usually drops 0.6 - 0.8 volt = 4.4 -4.2v

      full charge ho jane pad bms khud se charger ko dis connect kar dega, jis wajah se agar charger laga bhi reh jaye to bhi battery pad koi nuksaan nahi hoga, battery full charge hone pad agar notification led lagane ke liye extra parts aur circuit lagega usse cost bad jayega, issiliye maine isme wo circuit add nhi kiya hai, ye circuit cheap and best hai, agar notification led bhi laga hai to uske liye hum alag se circuit bana sakte hai

      bcoz that led work as charging indicator, the bms circuit will self disconnect the Charging 🔌 when battery 🔋 is full.

      Of you don’t have tp4056, then it’s only the cheapest right way and It already protects at all, much better than using just an diode.

    Hi Sir. Is it possible to make a device to plug into any gadget that uses 3.7v battery (through the micro usb port) to check the voltage level of the battery? Maybe by using a volt meter or led light indicators. Because I have a few devices that uses 3.7v and very often I do not know the charge level of the device, and so only come to know that the charge is low when in use and have to interrupt the usage to charge it. If there were such a device (juggard) then I could regularly check voltage level so that I could plan the charging and not be disappointed at time of use.
    Would love to see a video on this if it is possible. Thks.

      Take a micro usb cable and cut whatever length you want from the end with the male plug on it. Then strip the wires to reveal the positive ( Red or Orange ) and negative (Black or Blue) wires and the data wires. Make sure your voltmeter is set to DC voltage.Then simply put the positive wire on your voltmeter positive lead and the negative wire on the voltmeter negative lead. You will instantly get the voltage reading. If you have a cable with 2 (Black or Blue) wires, one of them is an ID line used to tell what kind of device is being connected, it will have 0 volts and will not give you a voltage reading between it and the positive wire. It and the two data wires can just be cut short and taped up. They serve no function for checking voltage.
