From a non-expert's perspective, it's interesting to see everyone looking so very real - especially after seeing the old Mario cartoons. Definitely do a review of the move for us when it comes out! (And you're not old. But I understand the feeling.)

Thank you! I definitely will do a review of the movie! I agree, I’ve always found the increase in level of detail interesting as technology has allowed for it. Whether it’s the hairs on Mario’s mustache or the texture of the overalls, I think having a good balance of some realistic details as well as cartoony-ness is important, I feel it starts to look weird if it’s “too real.” But I think they struck the right balance with their designs.

@@AaronCShow I even noticed accurate wrinkles in his overalls! I'm glad the characters are still recognizable though, and Luigi looks great! (As he should, since he's the best brother.)
