Nice video, always good to see someone promoting the cheaper fragrances, lets folks out there know that cheaper does not have to mean worse quality, and that they don't have to risk nasty fakes. Have you tried any from Armaf (Sterling Parfums) yet? I have Paraty for men, which is similar to Carolina Herrera's 212 VIP Men, but a bit sweeter and really without the vodka (Not my favourite, but nice), then Opus Homme Limited Edition, which is a Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche inspired frag with better longevity (really nice), and finally the big hitter: Club de Nuit Intense. That stuff is an amazing Aventus clone, but mainly of the important "body" of the fragrance - the initial blast of pineapple that you get with Aventus is completely absent to me, replaced with a bit of a generic "rough" lemon smell, but just like the pineapple in most Aventus batches this disappears quickly, and what you're left with is a very, very good copy of the body and dry down stages, with that beautiful smokiness. Massive compliment-getter and that's for a tenth the price of a bottle of the Creed..... Oh, and I'd like to second the CK One Shock suggestion -fantastic cheap fragrance from a line of poor performers!
A wonderfully useful fragrance list - thank you tons! I'm on a cheapie buying spree...have three on the list and pending delivery of Michael Jordan Legend and St.Barts tomorrow. I can't argue with any of the fragrances on the list since they are all solid inexpensive fragrances...however, I would just like to toss some more of my favorite cheapies off the top-of-my-head: The Body Shop White Musk, Lanvin Avant Garde, CK One Shock, Perry Ellis 360 Red, Perry Ellis M, Paris Hilton Man, Mont Blanc Presence.

I can only agree on the Nautica fragrance! I just received it as my first ever blind-buy, and it is simply amazing! and the price is great too. It's very fresh and soapy, and gets better after a few minutes on the skin.

Thank you for making these videos, and promoting these less expensive scents. There are a lot of "fragrance snobs" out there who actually look down upon the cheaper fragrances (they are not Creed scents and I get it). However, here are a LOT of really nice fragrances out there that won't break the bank, and I sincerely appreciate the fact that you not only review them, but really seem to enjoy wearing them and having them in your collection. Right now the most expensive scent in my collection is Spicebomb, but it also happens to be my favorite scent of all time so I will continue to buy it. However, most of my other scents are less expensive ones, and I enjoy wearing many of them just as much as when I wear Spicebomb. Anyway, thanks again. Your videos rock.
U can get Lacoste Booster for 4.2 under 30 and it's smells like summery spring scent! Also check out quorum silver which is real cheap as well! Thanks.
Hey Steve ....Absolutely brilliant video mate… I have seen some of these fragrances in the stores here in India as well & never ventured to try it out or gave it chance. Since these fragrances are quite cheap I thought these would be bad or not worth it. I am shocked after your review (shocked in a good way of course) I will definitely try these out next time go shopping & even buy a few. Wow it just goes to show you that even cheap fragrances can be good ….. I just learned never to judge a fragrance by its price tag lol thank you buddy…. You are the ultimate fragrance guru. Thanks for the great video, My only issue with the Nautica, it does not last very long, unless you re-apply every 2, 3 hrs. I have better luck and tons of compliments when wearing Victorinox, Swiss Army, which is also an affordable one, Today I also picked up an awesome smelling scent on the budget called Tattoo from Michel Germain.
Very awesome vid! I personally would recommend Love & Luck to anyone looking for something smoother / hot-weather friendly and with mass appeal. I can see how it would appeal to almost everyone, and unlike Voyage (!), I also enjoy it myself. I've only tried Voyage a handful of times though, maybe my opinion will change. Very intrigued by Cuba Prestige, I liked A Men from a sample a while back.

First 3 (10,9,8) I sold them because of performance but they smell good. M Jordan was good scent for great price sold it because I got tired of it. I just got Lomani Black, I am going to give it a way, doesn't project at all. I like AB Silver I sold my Insurection Pure but I am going to keep Silver!! And noticed that you reviewed Unpredictable Adventure and thought it smelled like Adventus. Hey Steve I actually bought a decant of Aventus on Ebay and I also bought Unpredictable adventure and compared to a few other samples of aventus I am actually 99% sure people are starting to sell the glen perri and pass it off as Aventus...very very close, scary close but my nose does notice.
I own Nautica Voyage and it is really nice. I got Chrome Legend by Azzaro and I REALLY like it. I got a 2.6oz bottle from TJ Maxx on clearance for $10, what a steal.
The most underrated criminally under appreciated cologne ever is the original Uomo in my opinion and everyone else who’s tryed it Big time fans and it’s a few of us I paid $21 at Marshals by far the most sophisticated dry down for a cheap cologne at 1st it smells like Aqua de Gio then after 10 min it’s magic kind of turns into Fahrenheit by Dior it’s so welcoming I got the good stuff like Sauvage, Dylan Blue, Azzaro Wanted, 1 million Lucky but this Uomo does way more during the dry down surprised Guess Suductive gets no play also the Blue is great also Great Video keep it up

DABS 999 the 1st time I tryed it I wasn’t in love the 2nd time then I keeped smelling my arm it changed so much I was like wow this smells great watch the other videos on the Uomo yes your right by Zenia
DABS 999 I’m surprised I had a guy tell me it’s pretty strong but he loved it to me it’s very light but I do find myself sniffing my arm way to much I usually spay 3 times on my others but I do go heavy on Oumo like 5 or 6 try it heavy see if it helps if not then your skin absorbs better-than most

Love this video. Finally someone let the cat out the bag on the Lomani line lol. I own them all with the exception of the essential, which i'm dying to try. You should try Lomani White gold, it was released along with Intense black and Blue Sky.

It does not smell cheap to me. I'm relatively new to fragrances and do not have the nose to have a qualified opinion so I trust the Stephens and Sebastions of the fragrance community. I paid $20.55 for the Lomani Black on Amazon. My most expensive fragrance (I have 18) so far is Gucci Pour Homme 2 at $80. I'm trying to keep my collection in a price range which will keep my streak of 37 years married to my wife in tact.
Dear Redolessence, nice video. I bought myself a Nautica Voyage today for everyday use but I then realized they have recomposed it and changed the bottle cap. Do you have any experience with it and do you know if the new composition is as bad as people say it is?
I own a bottle of Lomani Essential but not fan of it but i think Lomani Code its much more pleasing! I really want to try the Lomani ab spirit i have to find that one since theres a lot of hype going on that scent.... Nautica Voyage wow just recently bought it, and i really enjoy it, specialy this high summer heat....

Great list, i would add; Armaf Tres Nuit (it's in the same vain as GIT), Lacoste Booster (liquid candy cane mixed with eucalyptus), I am King by Sean John (smells like a fuzzy navel), and Dunhill Red
Oh and I forgot: your list is a clear example that you don´t have to spend mega bucks to smell great! Of course once we go deeper into this hobby we want to explore more complex, well rounded frags and that has a price but as you see with the ones you mentioned you will have a frag for almost all ocassions.

What can you compare White Gold to? I really Intense Black and Blue Sky.
Mohannesburg I really can't compare it to anything. It's smells quite lovely despite patchy performance. What about blue sky ? How's that ?
Blue Sky is a nice, clean scent. Doesn't really stand out but you can't go wrong for the price.
Have u ever tried Booster by Lacoste! It's a cheapie now under 30, bright and refreshing, with hint of eucalyptus and menthol! Very good!

It does not smell cheap to me. I'm relatively new to fragrances and do not have the nose to have a qualified opinion so I trust the Stephens and Sebastions of the fragrance community. I paid $20.55 for the Lomani Black on Amazon. My most expensive fragrance (I have 18) so far is Gucci Pour Homme 2 at $80. I'm trying to keep my collection in a price range which will keep my streak of 37 years married to my wife in tact.

Dear Redolessence, nice video. I bought myself a Nautica Voyage today for everyday use but I then realized they have recomposed it and changed the bottle cap. Do you have any experience with it and do you know if the new composition is as bad as people say it is?
I own a bottle of Lomani Essential but not fan of it but i think Lomani Code its much more pleasing! I really want to try the Lomani ab spirit i have to find that one since theres a lot of hype going on that scent....

Cuba Royal smells like a toned down 1 Million. Cuba Prestige Black smells like Swiss Army and Cuba Red is a nice tobacco fragrance.

Unpredictable Adventure vs Insurrection Pure 2 vs AB Silver by Lomani.. which one did you find more long lasting and more projecting on you? I am really between these 3.. I need your advise.. If they are very close to Aventus but one of them is the best at projection/longevity side, then i want to get that one.. Hope you get me.. Love your videos man. Whenever I need a review on a cologne I hope to see your videos in the search results haha. Love and Luck was my first cologne purchase and still one of my favorites and Nautica Voyage is very good as well. I got it as a Christmas gift and recently had to get a second bottle.

I know this is old. I get 6-8 hours. Decent projection for the first 3 hours or so. I feel like it's a smaller bubble after that.

Great list, i would add; Armaf Tres Nuit (it's in the same vain as GIT), Lacoste Booster (liquid candy cane mixed with eucalyptus), I am King by Sean John (smells like a fuzzy navel), and Dunhill Red

Oh and I forgot: your list is a clear example that you don´t have to spend mega bucks to smell great! Of course once we go deeper into this hobby we want to explore more complex, well rounded frags and that has a price but as you see with the ones you mentioned you will have a frag for almost all ocassions.
