This band used to be good. Jared is a Hollywood movie person now. So out of practice that this feels like karaoke on a big stage. I've seen this band a few a times live, the first time being in 2001 when they opened for Incubus. This is a far cry from that. Those midi drums are killing me too
Looks like quite a few ppl were enjoying it. The groups have a time limit and guess they wanted to get in as many songs, old & new as they could in that time.
It’s not auto tuned. But they are playing it a full minor third down from the original. Means to say he cant regularly sing as high as the original recoding.
@alexhouston2543 2 things, first they weren't necessarily saying that Jared can't sing the song anymore, they were saying that they shifted song down a full minor third, which means ALL instruments that make up the song are playing a full minor third down, if he tried to sing this at the orginal pitch it would sound off, and second, people's voices change over time, look at Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco, in his prime he hit notes comparable to Freddie Mercury and Micheal Jackson, but if you watch videos that are from about a year or two before he retired he struggled to hit the same notes, just because someone used to be able to hit a certain note doesn't mean that they will always be able to.
