    Additionally, what is it to be "good?" How do you know that they're "good?" By what definition?
    Someone who rejects their Creator is not good.
    Even if you look at their deeds alone, they still aren't the perfect angels your mind makes them out to be. Everybody has sins. Many have very serious sins, if only you knew their skeletons in the closet.
    Nobody enters jennah except by Allah's ﷻ Mercy. We're all deficient, it's the human condition. Only by trying your best to adhere to your dīn and repent will you be successful and good.

      Allaah (swt) guides those who genuinely try to find and follow the truth, and He (swt) knows what truly lurks in each heart and which ones deserve to be guided. In the Qur'aan, we are told even if those with sicknesses in their hearts were being raised into the sky to demonstrate, they would say they are hallucinating. Pharaoh and his people witnessed miracles and still rejected. Ultimately, Allaah (swt) knows who to guide and who is left unable to perceive.

      Now coming to Christians being compelled to believe Jesus is God, I'm afraid this is actually a forced reading of the Bible by Nicean Trinitarians. Jesus is clearly worshipping a Higher Power and telling his followers to do the same, "the Father is the ONLY true God". People who insist on worshipping Jesus as a God have to take extreme liberties with what Jesus says in the Bible and it's more of an emotional rather than rational and logical conclusion.

    Again, an informative video regarding the Islamic viewpoint. However, once again, I have issues with this viewpoint.
    My issue is this...
    There are 7.5 billion people in the world, of which about 24% are Muslim. From these, there are about 30% (total guess, could be higher, or much lower) that are practising Muslims and true believers which now reduces this to about 8% of the population. Then, there are supposedly 73 sects of Islam. So this could reduce the figure to between 1% and 5%. So, let's be generous and say that 5% of the world's population is following and practising the correct form of Islam. Which means 95% are not!
    Now, we know that Allah LOVES His people. After all, He created man and put him ahead of all of his creations. So, why would He, in His infinite wisdom, punish 95% of His creation? It makes no sense! Especially when we understand that the punishment won't be making someone stand in the corner for half an hour; or remove a small privilege (like tv) for a day. We are talking about sending them to HELL where the punishment is more extreme than you could imagine! Why would someone who LOVES His people do that? And for the reason that they were too ignorant to recognise Him and His message.
    I know I am not worthy of understanding His plan, but He has also given us a book, the Quran. And, what does Allah tala REPEATEDLY emphasise in every Surah (apart from one)? Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. (In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful). Note, that He does not say 'merciful' but the MOST merciful. i.e. He will show MORE mercy then you or I would. So, how is it MOST merciful of Him to create man, knowing that He will punish 95% of them? Would you consider that punishing 95% of the population to being MOST merciful, even if they were very, very, very good people?
    Peace.

      AJJmusician You seem like a smart guy. But are you smart enough to have judged the lives of all those 7.5 billion people with perfect justice? Doubtful.
      What if most of humanity does go to hell? It’s possible. But if this happens, they will have earned it through their own deeds.

    • @AJJmusician
      @AJJmusician 5 лет назад +3

      @@alienturtle1946 I agree that it is possible that most of the population will go to hell with conventional Islamic thinking (before you jump to conclusions, I AM A MUSLIM). However, it makes a mockery of Allah being the MOST MERCIFUL. If you, or I, were given all the facts about every person we may decide to forgive most their sins (as humans are weak-willed and Allah has DELIBERATELY made them that way). We would be merciful to all but the worst of us. However, Allah tala is the MOST MERCIFUL (more than you, or I are capable of being), so I cannot believe that He would banish most of the population to hell (a fate a million times worse than our prison).

      AJJmusician I actually had the same question in my mind a few years now. If its any help, any of the prophets who came earlier, each story in quran about them tell us that there were very few people who were the real believers. Allaah loves us and i am sure he has a greater plan and the real meaning behind all of this, as the sheikh stated in the beginning of the video that we have too incompetent of contemplating HIS main real plan, and thats what the quran lays its emphasis on focusing on ourselves and making sure we are on the right path. We may not b able to come up with answers to questions like these and maybe not spend time trying to come up with answers and acknowledging that these are not for us to understand. On the flip side this analysis shows how least interested we muslims are in taking responsibility of spreading the message that we so believe in and making sure we present and act in the best way islam preaches us to. I have found staying close to the quran really shapes my understanding of Allaah’s greater plan

    • @AJJmusician
      @AJJmusician 5 лет назад +6

      @@atiaomar6651 Many thanks for your effort. However, it does not explain anything. I totally agree, and accept, that we are incapable of understanding Allah's plans. It would be like trying to explain rocket science to a germ. However, that is God's greater plan. When it comes to plans about us, we should be able to understand what is required. Obviously, as a Muslim, you will say that Allah has told us what is required and He expects us to worship Him according to the Quran and the teachings of Mohammed. That is perfectly understandable. However, there is a HUGE problem here.
      Just for one moment, I would like you to consider that Christianity is the right religion. Now, you would be required to believe that Jesus is the son of god. Would you do it? I don't believe you would even if someone tried to preach this to you 24/7 for the rest of your life and gave you good reasons that Jesus is the son of god. So, you will NEVER change. Similarly, 99% of Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, Jews, Atheists, etc will never change their religion no matter how much evidence you put in front of them.
      What if Sikhism is the correct religion? What do you know about that religion? What if the correct religion is Buddism? How much have you studied that? Simply expecting that people should follow Islam because information is available (internet/books/etc) is not a good enough reason to punish someone for not believing, or following it.
      Now, we accept that every newborn baby is equal, regardless of their parent's religion. However, they are clearly not equal, because most of them will be indoctrinated into their parent's religion and when they grow up they will follow their parent's religion and will never change from it. Just like your kids (if you have them) will never change their religion from Islam. So most of them will go to hell purely because their parents followed the 'wrong' religion. Does that make any sense?
      Peace

    Surah Al Imran says those of the old scriptures including judaism and christianity have the gates available to them. I agree modern day christianity is not of the old scripture. However many people may act according to the rules of Islam and never even researched it. Those who do good and believe in 1 god- Allah SWT (remember there are many names) and follow Islam or the old scriptures have access to Heaven. Its contradictory to say Allah is the judge..oh but also only muslims have access to heaven. Let Allah SWT decide on the day of judgement. Let us spread the knowledge of belief and work on our nufs and assist others along the way. We are brothers in faith, but they are our equals in humanity. Remember they are our equals. Salaam.

      The default assumption has always been that non-Muslims as a whole will not enter paradise, since even Muslims cannot guarantee paradise for themselves let alone for non-believers. This gives incentive to call non-Muslims to Islam, otherwise what would be the point of spreading Islam if disbelievers will be admitted to paradise anyway? As for specific people who have already died, we simply say Allah knows best as to how they will be judged.

      you can read about the righteous person who lived before Prophet (pbuh). He intended to find about the truth by himself as he had no earthly guidance. and the Prophet was asked about this man when it was said about him that 'on the judgement day when people will come in ummahs he will be standing alone as if he were his own ummah'. Imam Ahmed Ben Hanbal narrated in his “Musnad” and Al-bayhaqi in his book “Al- I’tiqaad”, and classed as Saheeh by Al-Aswad Ben Saree’ that the prophet (PBUH) said:
      “Four types of people will be tested on the day of judgement: a deaf man who cannot hear anything, a mad man, an old aged man and a man who died during fatrah (a period of time when no messenger was sent to people). The deaf man will say: “Oh Allah, Islam came while I cannot hear anything!”. The mad man will say: “Oh Allah, Islam came while the boys throw animals’ excrement on me!”. The old aged man will say: “Oh Allah, Islam came while I can understand nothing”. And the man who died during a fatrah will say: “Oh Allah, I witnessed no messenger from You”. Then Allah takes a promise from them to obey Him. Then He will command them to enter hell, and who enters it will find it peace and cool, and who disobeys will be dragged to hell”

    What I have heard from scholars is that when a muslim die, he is under the will of Allah. So we cannot say for sure he is in paradis or hell no matter how good or bad he was.
