As a Michigan resident since 1963, I can tell you that this Authoritarian dictator has taken a wrecking ball to the state. She has a lot of seniors blood on her hands, as well as small business failures by fines, imprisonment. She's also ruined many medical careers. This woman is about as evil as they come. Sending sick felons to old folks homes is the most egregious to me. Travel bans for everyone but her and her friends, couldn't buy seeds or any supplies that would keep you home, awful as well. So many places have closed and won't reopen ever again. I have seen a few new places come in those old businesses this year, but it isn't the same. And those new businesses don't appear to be doing that great either. Seeing gretch on screen makes me want to slap her, with handcuffs, she needs prison time like most liberal "leaders". They should NOT keep getting off free just because they were a "leader" for a few years.
When the Governor had the health dept. shut down a barber, AFTER he got a court order to allow him to make a living, I vowed to vote for ANYONE other than Whitmer. I will do so.

When Whitmer banned travel this affected my son's visitation with his children who lived in Michigan and he lived in Indiana and Ohio. This put a strain on their relationship. He tried to explain to his daughter and asked an attorney what would happen if he drove across anyway. When dams broke around Midland county, there were 11,000 that were evacuacated from their homes. Witless had restaurants and hotels closed. So they had nowhere to sleep and eat. She made an appearance in area to get photos taken and stated she would do everything in her power to help, but did nothing, not even allow local hotels to open to give the evacuated a place to sleep.

Stop into Gaylord sometime and drive that alleyway of the community that was struck. Ask the residents their about the relief they got from Whitmer and Biden and see what they tell you.

The mentioned Gretchen wrongdoings are bad enough, but the covid prisoners in nursing homes was unconscionable. She was advised against it, and could have put them in Cobo, which had been converted into a medical facility for covid. It went unused, and elderly nursing home patients died. At least one prisoner was caught on camera aggressively abusing an elderly resident. Who is responsible for the deaths and abuse (and I wonder if any escaped with the easy opportunity)? She should be charged. She should get voted out, but some voters won't listen to logic and reason, and will vote for their party regardless. Best of luck to Tudor. Thanks for the Detroit plug! I was actually stopped twice at Walmart and refused service because I was trying to buy bird seed for my wild birds.

When Tudor takes office I would like to see her change the car insurance ruling. Michigan is a 'no fault' insurance state, and barring an act of God or nature, there is no such thing as a no fault accident. When I moved to Michigan 4 years ago my insurance premium increased $50 a month immediately for the same coverage with the same company. I would like to see this changed and give us a break. It would save us all some money.
"No Fault" Insurance doesn't mean no one's at fault in an accident. It means "No Fault" has to be determined before your insurance company remedies your situation and fixes your vehicle or pays you off. Fault us determined and insurance companies subrogate behind the scenes with the "At Fault" party without you having to wait for that process to be completed before you get squared away. Claims are settled quicker for the insured. It's the "Personal Injury Protection" basically an all encompassing health insurance policy that is part of Michigan Auto Insurance that makes the premiums higher than other states that offer limited or no medical coverage.
