I’m new to SWU and watching you guys talk about cards (that simple) helps new players understand, not only the mechanics, but the subtleties, interactions, and pros and cons. Thanks!!!
I’m 100% with Mike on Count Dooku, I absolutely put him in S tier, he one shots Iden, can let you defeat chirrut, or even just let you hit a leader for a little bit then defeat it. Also defeating space units is great with it.
Search your feelings seems good for Twin Suns. Sure it is not going to be super consistent but being able to find something that pushes your win condition can be useful in a singleton build.
Always fun to see these tier lists from you guys! We mostly agree, although you are a little more generous than I am. The only disagreements for me were: - Rukh, who was a C+ for me, because he looks great on paper and ends up having Underwhelm most of the time. - Emperor's Royal Guard who was a C for me because he has you constantly jumping hoops to try to make him work. And if, to make this guy good, you're playing Leader Palpatine, you're also losing the game. Checkmate. Looking forward to your Hero Rares review!
There are definitely needs to be a S plus tier for fire spray and an unplayable minus tier for galactic ambition. I did not think about some of the potential future cards that could make galactic ambition, more stomachable, and then who knows.
The way our local store does it is this: Week 1: Everyone gets 6 packs. Build a deck. Play games. Earn points for achievements, not winning (examples being "Use a force unit to kill a force unit" or "destroy a base with a space ship doing 5+ damage"). Week 2: Everyone is allowed to buy one booster pack to add to their existing sealed pool and change their deck as desired. Play games. Chase achievement points. Week 3: Same as above Week 4: Same as above. People with highest league points earn extra prizes. (The great thing is you don't get extra points for winning games, so it's not just about the best players in the room)
I'm not saying the Chimera is S-Tier, but it's the biggest shielded unit so it trades favorably with every other 6, 7, 8, and 9 cost space unit. Plus in Thrawn, you have a very good chance to know what they'll have in hand.
Suuuuper hot take for Galactic Ambition: Out of Aspect cards. Using it on a 6 cost card out of aspect or a 4 cost card double out of aspect is technically net positive. Its not ideal. And you still take damage. But you take less and are playing that card faster than you would otherwise. I can see it being generally more valuable in singleton formats to. Especially as we find stronger high cost cards in the future.
You can have 10 cards “on the side” (not In the deck you’re playing) in many tournament games that are best of 3. After the first match you can swap cards between the deck and the sideboard. One potential strategy would be after building your deck you consider if there is any gaping hole if you were playing against a very specific type and if you run into that then for games two and three, you have a chance to fix that deficiency.
Devastator is SOO much better than the relentless. It costs 1 more resource, but auto-kills pretty much any enemy. With my green deck I can get 10 resources in 5 rounds. It’s a game ender. Relentless is ok but nowhere near as game breaking
@LiterallyUnplayable Yep! There was the free Campaign dlc. Has old Iden, Del, Shriv, and her daughter and shows a familiar villain at the end. Pretty good bookend to the campaign actually

can't get enough content, keep up the strong work and good vibes fellas! Y'all rule!
Love the content! Looking forward to discussions of remaining rares

Also hot take, there has to be some kinda galactic ambition deck out there.
A man of culture and sophistication 🤌
You know what is truly the nail in I Had No Choice's coffin? Cunning out of aspect is both cheaper *and* better.
Search your feelings seems good for Twin Suns. Sure it is not going to be super consistent but being able to find something that pushes your win condition can be useful in a singleton build.
Very true! Love that twin suns makes you consider cards a bit differently

Search your Feelings is 100% a card that will add consistency to a combo deck.
Don't have any combo decks currently, but it seems inevitable.
It's just way too slow for the moment
Great vid! Bunch of fun.
Wait, how does a sealed escalation work? Is that on Discord? 39:20

I use Chimera in my boba deck just for big damage with sneak attack to close out games. Has worked for me many times!
Alright now THAT sounds fun for sure!

Del Meeko and Iden don't get married in the video game, but they have a daughter in it
I only put Chimaera in my sealed deck because I thought it was When played ability. The On attack is basically worthless
I'm not sure if they literally got married but they were together and they had a daughter.

Spicyyyy!
Seventh Sister has been really good against the Chewie decks that seem to be popping up.
Oh nice, great call out!
I really hate the Firespray...because I don't play yellow villain.
What do they mean when they say "puts it in their sideboard"? New to the game

Even before the free DLC (Where they've been married for 30 years and have a kid), Iden and Del end the game my mackin' it on Jakku
Chimera should be on-play & on atk ability like avenger.
It dies to removal. Worst reason to hate a unit.
True, but in the case of Chimaera it also doesn't do anything particularly better than other similarly costed units.
Devastator is SOO much better than the relentless. It costs 1 more resource, but auto-kills pretty much any enemy. With my green deck I can get 10 resources in 5 rounds. It’s a game ender. Relentless is ok but nowhere near as game breaking
Criminal not putting dooku in S, some of these ranking make me feel like we are not playing the same game lol 😂
Dooku is definitely good but he’s not even making it into the blue control lists you’d expect him to be in
Search your feelings is a C.
They are married.
I stand very corrected! -Mike :D
Thank you!!! :D
where is vader
In our legendary tier list! ruclips.net/video/WrRc6--h7yk/видео.htmlsi=spRrA5B1XTG1r69c
@@LiterallyUnplayable oh ok nice i couldn't find
They have a child together
Whaaaaaaaat?! I def got more reading to do -Mike
Thank you!!! :D
Clearly didnt play the BF2 DLC... smh lol 😂
There's DLC???
@LiterallyUnplayable Yep! There was the free Campaign dlc. Has old Iden, Del, Shriv, and her daughter and shows a familiar villain at the end. Pretty good bookend to the campaign actually
This list didn't age very well.
I think it’s still pretty accurate! -Jay
But has Mike beat Dhaus with galactic ambition yet ?
@FrankNicodem asking the real questions!
