Yes definitely don’t record scolding the children. Whenever I watch my old home videos from when i was a kid, and my mom scolded me for putting a Christmas ornament on the tree, it breaks my heart. Let them remember the good and not have to see themselves as kids getting scolded. It’s not a good feeling.

It’s interesting to hear other’s perspectives. I know it’s totally normal and some would even say healthy to fight and argue in relationships. I don’t think that everyone does , I fact I know they don’t because my husband and I have been together for 15 years , and we honestly don’t fight. And we have a great relationship

I really appreciate the balance on this channel. Especially not being married or having kids. I love seeing you and Benji date, but I also love when you guys say that you just got done arguing. I also love when you express that you’re having a chaotic time with the kids and the muffled screaming effect over Bella screaming to the top of her lungs 😂. It’s such a great transparent balance and it makes me feel better about going into full blown adulthood.
Love the parent talk and i love the way benji explained himself. Being a parent is not all sunshine and rainbows its chaotic and stressful but it's worth it. I've been watching y'all way before the babies was born and i watched them all grow up over the years which is amazing. Judy and Benji are excellent parents.

We just flew with our 1 yr old and he was crying for only a minute and the man behind me tapped me on the shoulder and looked so annoyed and told me to give my baby a drink to stop him from crying and I felt like I wanted to cry because I was such a hassle!

Benji’s snippet was so important and something I never felt was lacking from this channel until I experienced parenthood myself. As an only child from a small family I didn’t have exposure to raising kids and being with a partner. I naively thought that it was all fun, travels and good eats. I was really really in for it when I experienced the sleepless nights and the near divorce that can come from exhaustion and lack of working on ourselves and on each other. Kids change everything and yes it is glorious, but media already romanticizes it enough and there simple aren’t enough ‘real life’ examples of sadness, grief, trauma. It doesn’t have to be our identity but exposure definitely helps others be as aware of the hard as the good.
I love how videos are relatable and not scripted. You guys are authentic and we watching the girls grow up. Take care always!
