  • The Apple Edge press definitely takes some work to get adjusted prior to pressing and it won't fully relax most bows, but it's a perfectly capable and safe press for almost exactly half the cost of the lowest priced model from LCA.

I have not used my edge press on a beyond parallel limb bow yet. But I would not put the crash bars through any hole in the riser because you would want to use the entire riser strength and integrity to support any downward pressure.

Picked up and old apple pro press. What are you using as the bow stabilizers so the bow doesn't fall out of the press while getting pressed? Also, my bow has rollers, what fingers are you using?

Sounds like you may have the older version. Those pegs and fingers came with this model.

Can let a bow all the way down with this press? Say to remove the cams or limbs?
