I bought one not long ago. Love it! It is a limited-edition, exclusive model, which is why it has no serial number on the back of the headstock. It does have a serial number on the inside label. It was made specifically for Guitar Center and Musician's Friend, which are both owned by the same company. Unlike other Streamliners with their chunky necks, the G2627t has a very slim, fast neck! It is one of the best-playing Gretsches I ever played. The guitar has a total of seven settings/tones to choose from, and the pickups sound great. Also, other Streamliners have huge block inlays on the fretboard, which I don't like. The G2627t has smaller block inlays on the fretboard, which I think is a much nicer look. All in all, it's an amazing guitar at a reasonable price. I worked in the Gibson Guitars factory, but I've always favored Gretsches. For a guitar made in Indonesia, the G2627t is a very well-made guitar. I would encourage anyone to pick one up and play it. See for yourself!
It's the elusive and rare Gretsch G2627 (three pickups), limited run (factory special run). Their numbers unknown but very special indeed 👌 😀 👍 😉 😄. There was Electromatic FSR in 2016 too. It's stunning guitar too. Thank you.
This neck has an excellent feel and surprisingly stable tuning. It's the ideal guitar for experts, beginners, or anyone seeking the traditional Gretsch sound.
I never tried any hollow guitar. There is one guy in our church that has alot of expensive guitars and he also have hollow guitar. But no one can play it except for him. I wish to try hollow guitar someday. By the way nice guitar!
Guitars with 3 humbuckers/p90s are the best, huge amount of tone possibilities, and they all look beautiful, this Gretsch, the Epiphone Riviera P93, the Gibson black beauty, etc And the bigsby is also a great feature when playing blues, it can act as a tremolo pedal or dive like a regular strat style bridge

And the "scratch" instead of the F-holes fit perfectly, you normally see those in PRS and Fender styles, nice feature on a 335 type of body
Thank you. So well put.
