"Irish folk tales scare the sh*t out of me." Hard to argue with that. Love this performance. Thanks for uploading!
Brilliant stuff! This sound is still unparalelled until this moment.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Woah this is awesome
Thanks for watching and commenting Louis🎸
Wow! Love Pavement. What a treat, thank you.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
This rocks!!!! 🤘
👏👏👏
Good job, Scottish TeeVee. This is a great performance and you have rendered it quite nicely.
At some point Malkmus learned to play so well that took off.
Thanks for watching and commenting, so few Pavement fans ever do so 😔
Well I'm a fan, and I'm commenting alright @@ScottishTeeVee

Just 21 days after this performance was broadcast in the UK, Pavement played their final show at the Brixton Academy, London on 20 November 1999.
Domino Records released a statement in December 1999 clarifying that, _"Pavement are retiring for the foreseeable future to:_
_1. Start families_
_2. Sail around the world_
_3. Get into the computer industry_
_4. Dance_
_5. Get some attention."_
🤣
(And Pavement reunited in 2010 but that's another story)
They definitely knew it was the end lol, going on TV to promote your new album and playing a CCR cover and Folk Jam is a pretty sure shot in the foot
“This one’s for the fans…”
i guess Im kind of randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Maxwell Jefferson flixportal
@Yael Wallace thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I appreciate it !!
@Maxwell Jefferson Glad I could help xD
Damn! I’ve never heard Malkmus project like this with his voice before. This is heavy as fuck
Also love the awkward host lol
Glad you found and enjoyed this
sid the all-knowing. nah, they ain't a project. unless it's a project to get gary back. that's my only guess.
...ok they're a project. malkmus says so in amsterdam 2019. i'll try to keep this comment unedited to keep things continguous...
@@AcidRavelEffect pro-ject with his voice
i kno; i was resounding to eduardo who was maybe keeping it relevant or maybe not speaking perfect english.
Classic Pavement self-sabotage here: get on the most popular british music show and do a CCR cover.
You enjoyed it?
@@ScottishTeeVee Oh I did, their performance of both songs is killer. It's just funny to me that they wouldnt use valuable TV time to show off their actual material.
@@no_real_names7156 I totally agree with you Michael. Thanks for watching and commenting
Now knowing what we know, this man just wanted this band to die.
So by "self-sabotage" you mean perform an incendiary, superior version of a legendary band's song. Got it. 🙃
I always kinda liked pavement?
Was there ever any doubt?
You don't seem very sure?!
@@PaulRevellCilla lol yeah never could quite commit, they’re just not quite there
@@hunterdavis3003I don’t agree with your decision to not love Pavement, but we live in a society where it’s your right to not love Pavement, and gosh darnit I’ll fight for that freedom.
Basically one of the best bands ever IMO , but hey there’s always Radiohead lol for the masses
I love Pavement but Malkmus could fart into a tube and the fans would say it’s good. Would’ve been way cooler if they just played one of their 50 good songs
They were doing it for the fans because, unknown to the fans at that time, they were about to break up.
Time to hit the Pavement.
