In this one, Vegeta tells Goku that they have to perform the Fusion Technique. They do it, forming the Ultimate Warrior- Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta!
this is what i grew up with, i almost started crying when the nostalgia kicked in
Same..this has got to be the best theme track Budokai Tenkaichi ever made. Full of nostalgia, a sense of depressed moment, like saying goodbye to something for good
Brooo.. the background music goes so perfectly with the scene.. i remember playing this arch again and again just for this moment.
I like how when vegeta says they need to use fusion, goku starts wagging his tail!

Well thanks for this video. I haven't played this game in years. I was actually in the 6th grade playing this game and now I'm a senior in high school and I actually thought about the song and it made me come back to this exact scene. It's truly amazing how much time flies by when you're spending time with family and friends all your life.
As a kid i didn't even watch the anime. I played Budokai 1 and watched my friend play Tenkaichi 2. That's all i needed. I think i see the Omega Shenron battle as the true final boss of the Dragon Ball series even though it isn't canon. I was just obsessed with super saiyan 4.

Man this game had everything and everyone it was the best game of its times and one of the best Dbz’s ever made.

This is an example of a simple take on this scene that works better than the original as far as I' concerned. The music, the colour palette, the tone of the dialogue, all give this fusion a substance that was lacking in gt.

The scenes here were better, in budokai tenkaichi 3 were not that good like here

The story mode in Tenkaichi 3 was honestly a more phoned-in "cliffnotes", the appeal in that game came with the massive roster and improved gameplay, the "arenas"/venues that helped make virtually any battle possible in Dueling, in addition to the incredible World Tournament and Ultimate Battle modes. The strengths in Tenkaichi 2 came with the unparalleled story mode and the iconic North American OST IMO.
Just..amazing ssj4 is the strongest they will make. A game like bt3 but with character creation. Different gameplay styles to!
