dont beat yourself up for being personal or whatever. i really love it when RUclipsrs talk about things that mean a lot to them personally. every topic becomes more engaging to me when its delves into what it means to the creator of the video personally.

He has to, tiktok hates personal stories like that. It has to be all content all the time, if the kids lose interest in boring personal empathy for even 2 seconds they get bored and leave.

main reasons its bad from what ive seen are:
      - the engine for the game is awful. the arcade version's audio and video are super out of sync and timing (the system that determines how accurate your steps are) is rlly wonky
      - supernova/supernova 2 introduced some of the worst charts in the game (ngo, dead end groove radar special, paranoia hades) that remain infamous to this day
      - supernova represented ddr in one of it's worst states of its life. supernova came out four years after the series went on hiatus and was supposed to be the game's big return, but the game the series left on was extreme, one of the most successful versions and arguably encapsulates the cultural craze of ddr, so there was really no way to go but down
      - supernova was the first ddr game after konami sued the company behind In The Groove, a DDR-like game that provided higher quality charting and quality of life features and was providing content during this huge ddr drought, so a lot of people were (and still are) upset that supernova was the only thing konami could muster up after fans proved they could make their own, higher quality dance game
theres definetly a LOT that im missing which is why i REALLY hope kkclue makes a video abt it bc its a rlly interesting topic

There is something so wholesome and pure about a person pulling their favorite things out of their collection to show off and excitedly gush about to someone else coming over to visit. Not everything may be as interesting to everyone else, but I guarantee you these videos went viral because of how well you captured that warm feeling of someone letting you into their special world and sharing things that make them happy. The stuff being cool is a bonus, imo.

I wish more channels did something like this. I basically use RUclips shorts as a filtered tiktok, not saying tiktok is bad or that shorts is good, but I'm very scared of how gullible and influenced I can be so I want to avoid the Hotspot of internet culture and consume the content that has already been judged by the internet. It is very good to see a clue upload.

I’d love to see you to make a tf2 video. I recently started playing at the behest of two friends who have been playing for years and years and it’s a culture and rabbit hole I’ve been unable to properly “get” because I wasn’t immersed in its culture at its height of popularity (and I also really like your style of presenting information).

Oh, TF2's a dumpster fire, but in the best way possible. I'm hoping you start to 'get' it a bit more, I've logged some 4000 hours in the game, and even though I consider myself to have "left" the community, it's definitely an experience unlike any other. Your friends probably know about the game's issues all too well, so hopefully they can help curate your experience with it.

Kinda creepy but cool how RUclips recommended me your channel, considering the TikTok algorithm delivered me almost all of your tiktoks. I loved your tamagotchi video (I spent a few hours exploring various designs of the tamagotchi generations before I saw the video so it was cool to see all the designs and spin offs that I missed. I appreciated your commentary about your tiktoks, and it keeps the video interesting even though I already saw 90% of these videos on my fyp anyway, so it was fun to rewatch them. This is really inspiring to someone like me who appreciates long format content most but would rather not have my own content that i put hours of my life into to go unseen. Its a nice, comfy approach to short format content that meets the demand the internet wants while still feeling familiar enough to not be jarring. It really makes me want to start making some of my own to help foster my creativity more than I normally do. Thanks for making this video highlighting your work!

Anyways, please don't feel self conscious for talking about things that you think no one would care about. The less I know about something and the less I care about it, the more I want to see someone else talk about it. I feel like your channel is a history book of things I'm supposed to know from my childhood, and you are so clearly passionate about everything you show off that it really shows me why people loved them. And it's super exciting when you talk about something I *do* remember seeing, like the iDog or webkinz, and then I get to know way more about its history and how it connects to my childhood (or like the Taco Bell Dog! OMG no one my age knows about the taco bell dog but I LOVE him, it was so cool to see you pull him out). Thank you for all the work and love that you put into these, it's really the best!

This video was so interesting. I liked how you discussed your whole process and what you learned as you went on. I would love to see another one of these compilations/breaksdowns.
(Also you should try uploading these videos to RUclips shorts or Instagram reels as well)

Loved the TF2 part! I play it since 2008, so seing those paperback's got really intriguing. I thought of only adding the Game box to my TF2 collection, but now I see another item, thanks!

Ive always wanted to make videos but never had the guts to post them, and seeing a little 'peak behind the curtain' was SO fascinating. especially learning whats intentional to get engagement, when I wouldve completely assumed it was happenstance. This makes content creation feel a lot more approachable.. thank you!

ohhhhh my god this video just brings me so much nostalgia, my younger brother had both of those Leapsters, I had a handheld version of that V-Smile that looked like a DS and also had an option for left handed players, and that Guitar Hero Portable is lost somewhere in our porch, but I remember it never worked lmao
I really gotta do more digging into Y2K tech, it's such a beautiful world that I wish I was more exposed too when I was 4-6
