You nailed it when you pointed out that “when you command high enough wages” Snap On is something many mechanics prefer. Many people miss this point. When a Harbor Freight enthusiast is looking at our Snap On collection they can’t grasp the value. Just like the McDonalds Big Mac enthusiast can’t comprehend the value of a hundred dollar strip of Kobe Beef! Value can be subjective, and more often than not, well paid mechanics value high quality (expensive) tools.
Well… thanks for the kind word. All these snap on haters have one of two problems: 1. They don’t know real quality and the price one has to pay for top shelf items. 2. Jealously- they know snap on is the best and can’t handle their station in life. Snap On is the Icon that is why they are shot at.
@@eightpenny6379Oh come on. Sure I like Snap On just like any professional would, but that company just got ridiculous in their marketing. A 1000 dollars for a Torx Allen set? A 1000 dollars for a simple socket set? Shit. MAC and Matco wouldn't even try and pull that shit. Proto and Wright are every bit as good at sometimes 25% of the cost. I see a lot of collectors buying them who never turned a wrench professionally, may as well collect comic books
The jewels of tools, I absolutely love the old school era of Snap-On wrenches, another great video, thanks buddy looking forward to some more of your old school era content
I love the old underline logo Snap-Ons I definitely use them.
Me too
Yes I too have some selected snap-on tools, and for those who knock snap-on are the same people who know a friend who can fix it for cheaper.
So so true.

@@eightpenny6379 So very true, but very difficult if not impossible for many to understand. 🙂

You bet
Just a question, but do you try to get all your wrenches to be from the same date code in a set.
No that’s impossible
