David Wise is my favorite video game composer of all time. These songs instantly bring me back to memories of playing DKC2 on my SNES as a kid. I think they also contributed to my eventual love of EDM and Trance music because I do consider a lot of the tracks from these games to be some of the first electronic music I've heard. Stickerbrush symphony is one of the best video game songs of all time imo, only really surpassed by some FF7 tracks to me.
Golden hour fades into a deep red glow as Donkey drives into the sunset to reflect on things in this 80s action mystery film. Maybe he just had a falling out with someone. Maybe he's thinking about all of the clues he's gathered in the unsolved case. Maybe he's about to address the tension with that annoying waitress that he somehow connects with. This is the DonkeyWave.
