while kris is probably a special case in the rules about souls because they are just not explained enough in the games, i think that was spamton's mentality

The fact that many Kris voice actors sound like Retrovsity and (same with Jevil) always makes me think if they actually like asked if he could dub his comics or he enjoyed it so he dubs comics

The funny thing is we aren't even sure if the whole "monster souls and human souls are different" part of Undertale still aplies here. I mean, Queen says that all lightners have determination, which was supposedly pretty much only a human thing
@@pablopereyra7126 will theres presumably no magic in the real world in deltarune, and judging by who berdly died and didnt turn into dust, its safe to assume that maybe monsters are just built different in deltarune, less magic more phisical stuff.

I think its a similar situation to undertale, where monsters can absorb a human soul, but so can darkners. That's why spamton is after kris' soul specifically, and not Noelle's or ralsei's. Also I think darkners can't absorb darkner souls, also like undertale.

I told my mom about spamton and kris’s story, and her take on it was this- basically spamton had been emotionally manipulated by mike, and when he met kris he just treated them the way mike had treated him, probably not even realizing how harmful that kind of behavior was to them. And kris had been vulnerable to that kind of manipulation because they felt bad for spamton because they knew what it was like to be controlled like he had been

Unlike monsters, humans can survive without a soul but it is very detrimental to their mind and body which is probably why Kris' staggers around when his is removed, it also makes Kris incredibly exhausted since he gets no sleep while his body is moving on its own. What we have yet to learnis what the SOUL connects to.
At the start of Deltarune. Someone reaches out to connect to us, the player, and we are then placed into Kris.
Kris seems to be missing his own SOUL (Meaning he has no determination of his own) as we the player seem to be missing our VESSEL. Kris is no closer to having his own free will than Spamton is and both are missing something.
Kris is basically in the same situation as ASRIEL at the end of Undertale. He will transform into a soulless being if he remains without a SOUL.
@@Makorze You bring up good points, but if we aren't kris's real soul then where is his soul? Why couldn't we have made our own vessel? But if that really is kris, then his soul must be somewhere or else he would stop feeling emotion while being controlled. But then again I don't think that's the case, I don't think that's kris at all. Why would kris create dark fountains? I believe the knight as something to do with this, and yes I believe the knight isn't kris. I think kris is like to the player, another vessel to use.
Actually, if you're helping someone get through a potentially traumatic experience, one of the best things to do in the short term is to get their mind off of it and get them to a place where they can get the help they need. Ralsei trying to avoid them talking about it, getting them to continue? That's what he should have done. He's either a construct created by Kris' psyche, or he's just a kid, he can't help Kris' mental state. He can't heal their mind, so he's pushing them forward, trying to get them home, hoping that in the light world Kris will talk to someone who can get them the needed help.

Neither you nor Kris are the roaring knight, it's Toby Fox. You share the same goals as Kris who wants a happy ending and his freedom, where you (The Player) simply want to reach the true ending. Which leaves Flowey and Toby Fox. But Ralsei is more likely to be Flowey. And it makes perfect for a game developer to create a problem that can only be solved by a player.
But then some characters from the dark world met the knight. As we all know, Toby is basically a dog, just spelled backwards. So it can't be Toby.

Imagine actually being scared of Spamton. Bro, do you have ANY IDEA the amount of people who just want their hands on a human soul in Undertale? I've done Omega Flowey. The Amalgamates? The various non-terrifying people who want the human soul, which is basically every boss except Napstablook, Toriel, Papyrus, Greater Dog technically, and Sans. (Boss is classified by "Unique battle theme to that _soul_ individual"). Sure, existential crisis and connecting to Kris exactly, but I just find that deep and possibly forshadowing. If you actually read all this I'm impressed.
I don't think it's just him wanting the soul but rather him wanting the PLAYER and knowing of our existence not to forget being one of the only characters if not the only character to genuinely unnerve/absolutely terrify kris, who doesn't even have full control over their body, yet had enough to respond in a fearful mannor.
And even though some people might not be scared of him, Sans is a pretty creepy/scary character. Most things known on him are known through him telling you and gaster eggs, sans has the ability to manipulate reality to a pretty large extent, and mass 4th wall awareness
@@Trigger-ub6xn God, why do people always have to bring Gaster into this? He essentially does not exist. And yeah, Sans talks the talk but is too un-motivated to really be scary. He's difficult, intimidating even, but not scary. And he can pause time, not "alter reality". That's Omega Flowey and Asriel.
