@@thecraftytailor Yes, $23,000.00 for a home sewing machine is extreme. I liked my Janome 9000 ( that was $3,300.00 in 1994 ) and was well built in Japan. No computerized machine will have a life span that is worth that amount of money.
Is there a way to order the accessory tray for the new case? I just bought a 6700 1 month ago and the blue vinyl case. I was disappointed to not have a spot for my hp and hp2 foot I also like the depth of compartment for throat plates as my case really only holds one of the securely?
Yes, there are slots in tray 2 for all the optic magnifiers and the post which attaches into the machine. They come with the CM17, but are optional for the CM7.
Hi Nancy, the manual is available on respective Janome websites ie. Janome.CA in Canada, www.janome.ca/en-ca/ca-machines/embroidery/CM17/ Janome.COM in the USA, etc. It's also available on the Janome Global Site www7.janome.co.jp/global/product/machineupdates/ and the new AcuAssist App for iPads and Android tablets www7.janome.co.jp/global/softupdate/acuassist/ Happy Sewing!
As Always a nice and very informative video!!!! This machine has so many Included accessories!!!! Just a comment: The numbers for the magnifying glass set does not refers to "degrees", thay are Magnification units, and they are called "Diopters", and that is totally different from degrees. Another thing- When Janome is going to have the Circular Ribbon, Yarn and Beading attachment? The PFAFF Creative Icon I/2 and and Husqvarna Viking Epic 1 and 2 have that. That is a very nice attachment for quilting and specially, for Embroidery. Can you comment on that please?
Thank you for the info, that's awesome! I knew degrees wasn't the right word, but figured it was close enough so people would understand what I meant, lol! As for the attachment, it is very cool, but I don't know if Janome will produce something similar. There may be patents involved? I'm not sure. Maybe one day!
I’m binge watching this again ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thankyou I found this and your second video informative. Up till now I have been underwhelmed with Janome's release.

Türkiye ye ne zaman gelecek?
Might be a wonderful machine but for the everyday sewer it is way out of our price range. Wish Janome
luck.
Yeah I can only really see it being used in a business or for an extremely wealthy retiree
But a business would probably be just as likely to buy an industrial, a long arm and a multi needle embroidery machine.
