EDM trap isn't small at all... this stuff has been out since at least the beginning of this year. Datsik made a couple of trap remixes of his songs for his Firepower Tour and Bassnectar's new song Freestyle has a trappy feel in the beginning. I think one of his other new songs is heavily trap-influenced too.
