Everything about them was perfect in the show. Both characters were cast perfectly. My favorite scene of theirs is when Inej saves Kaz’s life from the Etherealki. The way he looked at her after she killed was just so 😍. I feel so bad for her. She didn’t want to kill him but she had no other choice.

At this point i would give anything for six of crows to have a sepaarate series entirely based on the books just to see my fav kanej scenes😶
I feel like they're definitely going there. After they wrap the shadow and bone trilogy (or maybe before) they seem to be planning to follow the Six of Crows plot. After all, Nina and Mathias's backstory was in Shadow and Bone and Nina was seen on the ship with them at the end of the series.

I love how they changed little things from the book, like kaz saying Inej is an investment and there are others out there like her, to him in the show valuing her as a person and saying ‘no one is like you’.

one question why could'nt inej cross the fold and go with kaz, like the tattoo
The tattoo is from the menagerie, a brothel where inej was forced to work in. Kaz is trying to pay off her contract with the menagerie so that inej can work with the crows instead. But kaz hasn't covered the entire payment yet so thats why.
