      @@RodSanAgustin That's cuz gods are imaginary. Imaginary things can never be explained because there's no tether to reality with them. No physical measuring, no senses contacting. But real stuff can be figured out. We don't know a lot of cosmic facts *now*. But we will know *one day* if we keep searching. Because the cosmos is real - unlike gods. And unicorns. And magical wizards attending prep schools lodged in a magical neverwhere. And Spider-Man.
      (Every single time we've ever figured out a mystery, like where the sun goes at night, it's always turned out to be a perfectly natural phenomenon. Isn't that wild? It's never turned out to be Apollo on his chariot or a wizard casting a spell or whatever. Stuff humans blamed on demons for eons turned out to be diseases and mental illnesses that can be treated - like leprosy and schizophrenia, both of which Jesus blames on demons in the NT. If "God's work" were real, we would be able to engage with and study it exactly as we do black holes and cancer. But it isn't, and so we can't.)

      The deeper or higher the thought - the deeper the need for even subtler knowledge - for the mind - towards infinity.
      Knowledge without a sense of the Divine - as Goal or Base - becomes mere foolishness (Raja yoga meditation). We should try to share in the revelation - we have the tools and now the courage and love - raises itself in flame.

    How am I existing right now? You. Me. Us. How are we floating about in outer space? How can we exist? How did all of this come from nothing? Where was the start? How can a start even exist? It's truly out of the realm of imagination. If it all came from energy, how can the first energy arise from nothing? If Our Creator (assuming we have one) came to us with an explanation, I wonder if we'd have the intelligence to understand such a question.
    The only way to attempt to grasp this, is to first admit that time and nothing does not exist. We simply can't think "outside" the code of reality we were created inside. Our perspective is limited. I wonder if this will one day change? If it's possible to ever expand consciousness to solve the mystery of our genesis.

I don't think it makes logical sense to have an infinite past of anything, otherwise it would require an infinite amount of time to reach the start of our universe. • @jimgraham6722
      @jimgraham6722 3 месяца назад +1

      Probably not. What we know about the universe is better understood if it emerged from an infinity of nothing, such as a Kuhn level 8 nothing.
      An infinity of nothing being infinite, is replete with possibilities. One of these is the emergence or creation of our universe.
      The creation event itself had to be very simple in nature so that it became not just a possibility, but also probable.
      The universe we experience today is as a consequence of decay from that creation event. Ultimately (in trillions of years) the universe we know and love will decay back to nothing, no particles, no fields, nothing at all.
      However, along the way it may go though a number of trillion year long 'events' as dark energy rips apart black holes.

I think it could be possible for time to spontaneously start nowhere and from the absence of anything as there seams to be a natural tendency for time to progress, but then light speed and singularity also offer an impression of some ability for time to stop and lay dormant. In either scenario we appear arrive at a proposition of either infinite universes from nothing, or infinite universes within infinite universes. For me some infinities appear more plausible than others though.
