@@vinayravi9343 that doesnt make it slave labour .its actually a good paying job here in garment industry for women and its not really profitable to run small units with shitty equipment and with untrained and unskilled chilld labour .its more profitable to run large units with high quality equipment and quality labour specially in garment and footwear indutry where margins are razor thin and economies of scale is the only way to get profits

Ms. Padukone was a national level badminton player in her teenage years, and she said I "would wake up at five in the morning, go for physical training, go to school, again go for playing badminton, finish my homework, and go to sleep." This is clearly hard work and training as an athlete, and isn't that the spirit of this video? Are ALL of the other girls in the video "actual athletes"? One of the girls in this video is a graphic designer who just works out at the gym with a passion, not an internationally competing athlete...but that doesn't mean she isn't an athlete right? Nike is a brand that is meant for all people who are inspired by sports, it's not only meant for world-class gold medal or professional athletes. Ms. Padukone is clearly very fit and athletic, and she's a great dancer as I've seen in her films, so clearly she is still an athlete. So why is it bad to have her in a Nike commercial...? Here in America, we have celebrities who are singers, rappers, and actors who aren't even that fit who are appearing in Nike, Adidas, Reebok etc commercials and people don't get mad, so why are Indian people angry?
