Madden is a game of play calling and having a dude with 90 speed at receiver if you call the right play he will get open and if he catches the ball he’s gone
Speed is literally the most important factor. Richardson Sherman has a high rating but he gets beat defending a 95 speed wr. A 95 speed overall 67 DB probably won’t get beat deep like Sherman will in this game.

Madden is trash AF. Haven't bought it since almost PS2. And it hasn't changed much since then. In fact they removed a lot of things since then.
The gameplay actually is different
There comes a point where the graphics can’t get much better until the console changes. Also, you can only do so much to make football feel different every year

The fact that TD can run the exact same offense as 20 is proof that 21 isn't worth it.
He’s not cus wheel routes are useless and streaks are more realistic and tackles are more realistic
Plus new abilities means a new meta defense is way harder this year and stretch is not op don’t just say a game is garbage just by the way td plays
There’s also a new game mode a my player and you can play 5v5 like 2k

Users aren’t slow, they’re just finally not superhuman and actually have some physics tied to their movements. Which I personally like about the game.

The user should have been nerfed, if this is simulation football, I dont want someone being able to use one player and cover half my receivers
If this is simulation football, an offense doesn’t score every drive of the game and that’s how Madden has been for as long as I can remember. Defenses are irrelevant and the only way to get stops mostly is thru takeaways which is why users need to be OP
Now it’s almost impossible to user . My first game today I wasn’t able to keep up with opposing WR , every deep ball WR was open . Reason why chiefs are unstoppable (99 speed Hill) . They went from an extreme to another , nothing in between . Two/three years ago User was unrealistic , literally LB quicker than WR . Last year they fixed that and did a good job , made user more realistic . But now you are better off rushing with your DE . Even tough it’s a Sim game , or that’s what they want to be , you still need to make each player be different and unique , and that’s what user on defense did before
It’s called a video game and there are 10 AI’s on the field of course you have to control a person to have a skill gap
