Paul, I really really enjoyed your video. However, I cannot seem to get it to work for me. Everything, seems to be fine except that no one can hear me, I have also tried this with the Reverse Beacon. Still a very goo video,
That question is why I was looking here too. At about 2:45 give or take in the video he mentions that there's very little to be done in setup and then says "Other than hooking up a USB cable". He then mentions specifically an A to B USB cord. I can't wait for "Tax Time", as I'm wanting to pick up one of these things. :)
Hey James. great to hear from you. I love this new radio. It isn't the FT-DX710 it is just the FT-710, and yes it does come with the external speaker. A real bargain for $1,000. www.dxengineering.com/parts/ysu-ft-710-aess
Paul I have the FT710 and same COM ports but I cant get this to work in RTTY _ I copy your configuration but no luck. Would it be OK to ask you for help?

Hello Paul! I can hear stations, my radio sends TX, I can hear my signal but no one hears me. Any Idea? Thanks for the video. Gabriel
Are you using the USB for the RTTY or are you using the 6 pin connector ?

Great video, unrelated question where did you get that small monitor on top of your FT-710?
