I know Jasson Dominguez is injured (again) right now but do you think there's a chance the Yankees try him out at 1B when/if he gets back on the field soon?

doubt it, however if Judge misses time I bet they'll call him up if he's back before Judge.

Yes, you're right. Luckily, Rice is Catcher eligible and he should earn 1B eligibility fairly quickly.

Yeah, it looks like Rice is going to handle 1B for now. I'd like to see him get a long term opportunity. Maybe he'll do well enough that the Yankees keep him up after Rizzo returns.
Dominguez is hurt again and there's no real timetable for his return. It's a shame, I'd really like to see Dominguez get a call up before September.
