No other foreign speakers speak English as perfectly as the Dutch. They are impeccable. I have met native Dutch speakers who speak English better than people I went to school with. Whomever is in charge of English in the Dutch school system is a genius.
its for the main part selfinterest, we are a small country, we have little or none vallueble possesions in the ground like many other countries; oil gold silver minerals or any other scarce product, that means we must find ways to make money, to make the country more prosperous we need to export, to do that we must speak several languages English spanish was important but i think now chinese is more important

Dutch can only sing well in English. Best English is spoken by the Scandinavians .
It's not the Dutch school system, it's the fact that all the American, English, Canadian and Australian TV-series and movies are subtitled in the Netherlands, except the ones for little kids, who are overdubbed. So from quite young age, children hear many native English speakers.
Germany, France, Spain and Italy overdub nearly all English language video-material.

Wonderful cover. It’s so close to the original and it’s really not easy to sing. Patricia you totally nailed it with brilliant vocals.
I tought music and voice many years ago. I would try to instil the idea that when you sing a song, you are telling a story. You must understand the words that you are singing, in order to feel the song's message. This young lady not only has a beautiful voice with great control, but she is telling a story. And that's the difference between good and great.
A powerful yet soft and flawless voice that is easy on the ears ... captivating, to say the least. On a scale of one to ten, with ten being the highest rating, she's an easy 10 :D.

My family immigrated from Holland two generations ago. So I have a special interest in watching singers from Holland. Not only do they sing very well they are all nice looking people. My god does Holland have any not so good looking people?
Her techniques, projection and control is world class. Effortless. Her voice is multi-genre. You can hear Karen Carpenter, Heart, Pat Benatar, Bonnie Raitt, Faith Hill, Adele, Sophie Hawkins, Lisa Loeb, Shania Twain, Jennifer Paige, Bonnie Tyler, Roxette, Even lady gag sounds like her.
