And thanks for the great quote from Errol Morris "that [Glass] creates a feeling of existential dread better than anyone else." That observation goes some way to offset insensible criticisms of 'predictability' or 'cheesiness' against a great composer from people who 'understand' music as little other than verbal representations of chords, over an arbitrarily fixed grid of time.
