I like mikes pitch for the rocketeer 2, but knowing the current state of politics in hollywood and the lack of talented writers and ideas if that movie was actually going to be made I fear it would be ghostbusters 2016 levels of garbage.
So it turns out the Rocketeer “sequel” is a shittily animated Disney Junior (yes junior, like for toddlers) show. Just so you really don’t get your hopes up for Mike’s good pitch.

I guess I am the moid who's screaming at the absolute retardedness of the proposed sequel to the rocketeer. I love the comics and the original movie. It could maybe work with a passing the torch motif, but I would just rather have new characters and not the repurposing of already beloved ones to meet an imaginary requirement that we used to call tokenism but apparently now its all fine.
At 38 minutes Culkin shows up, and destroys the last 22 minutes. It took them long enough to realize that it was cool at first having a formerly famous child actor around, and then it wasn't. They finally just had to tell him to go home, alone. Go leech off some other channels talent and popularity, you're weighing us down. It took them FOREVER to cut that guy loose.
