this tank has no downfall, good accuracy, good pen, good reload, amazing armor, great gun depression, very good mobility. These reward tanks shouldnt even exist
armor isn't amazing. The armor is only amazing hull down. Any decent player will shit on a chief in a normal side scraping fight. If you're fighting in a position where the enemy has a chief AND can go hull down, you shouldn't be there in the first place
@@Deezorz so the entire opposing team should relocate across the map, to let the chieftain player move forward and go hull down again by your logic? that pixel tank is broken and WG knows it. They just don't care.
@@leudast1215 or just not go to the place where you face a chief hull down in the first place. No need to relocate then right? Would be stupid to play against a chief and willingly drive into hills with your 705a. In stead if you turbo push the other side of the map as a whole team, force an early base cap and just don’t allow the chief to get in a good position, easy win

As someone who has driven it in clans such as daily, fame, meme, jbait, rld, and old nerva, and having enough hours as a paid field commander, I know how the chieftain works. Trust me when I say, it's not as op as people think and say it is. If it was, everyone would have 6k/7k average damage on it, but they don't.

chieftain is an example of why i stopped playing the game. Tier 10 "balance" is just bad and so many unfun mechanics are still in the game, and I don't know why they keep introducing tank that are terrible to play and terrible to play against. I still enjoy watching a game or two on YT from time to time.
I left the game for 4 years … am a super Unicum with 3150 overall wn8 and a 62.7% overall win rate and the meta has completely changed. There are like three or 4 broken tanks that when I see them on the other team it’s essentially an 80 percent chance of loss at least. Chieftain, Kran, 279 are just fucking dumb.

Not only T10. T8 is also garbage because of all the broken premiums. If you want to play a tech tree tank, you are just fucked.
@@stefannilsson2406 the good prems are only "broken" in the right hands. I have seen bourrasques and progs flail with no hope. While I have made the Isu152k look super competitive more than once and that tank is just fun when it hits but meh in most scenarios.
What really sucks about the tech tree is the dumb crew training system right now. It isn't fair to fight someone with a barely skilled crew. I've actually given up dealing with the crew grind and going up tech trees bec of it. Progression in the warships game feels diff though and I've had fun with that system.
I like it random, unpredictable, and somewhat frustrating. My kind of gaming!!!

Personally i dont approve of gold spam but you push those gold rounds to the limit. And it makes it really entertaining to watch. Thank you Kajzoo for putting these fire videos out there :)
Normally i’d say that back in the day as well, but later on you start to realize that in most tanks in tier X, gold spam is kinda mandatory, since you want to make every shot that connects count, and this is especially important when 3 marking tanks, since you want consistency.

From all the players showing their replays, or someone else's, your videos are most shortened to the core, you preserve our watch time, who ever is your editor - bravo. Simply the best channel of them all ! (watching wot videos for years). One more thing I should mention is that, there is a commercial from "juicy drops" candy that is shown exclusively on your videos, and your videos alone, that is funny❤ I saw it more then 30times.

yeah- tell that to little Wolly, who just got his tier 10 tank and plays against gold-spammer- just ridiculous that this game still matches tier 10 vs tier 10 no matter what they are- chief or fn e5 or what their exp is in the game..
Dude... the guy uses aim bots and rigs his matches. Too many of his vids have opponents not even reacting to him farming them and his reticules have a magnetic habit of following cupolas perfectly.
I know you played with a broken tank, but man still the way you pump damage out is insane. I really suck at this game. Watching you helps me improve bit by bit, though. Thanks for the content and a huge congrats on 3rd mark!!!
It's amazing to see that the shots are actually going to the dot where you aim fully.. I feel 70% of my shots are just wobbling around the aim circle fully aimed or not. That's why I hate this game so much and why I won't play it anymore. RNG determines if you'll win or lose even before the game started. Map side+RNG and you can just switch the game off.
yeah every shot i fire misses and this guy is just derpsniping cupolas like if there was no dispersion and acts surprised when it misses. definitely something fishy going on behind the scenes.

Correct. You can do the exact same thing twice, first time be called all sorts of stuff by your team for doing no damage and second time you could have the world damage record. Rng determines whether or not you kill an enemy who has about the same hp as your alpha dmg (they have 380hp, you have 390 alpha, 48% ish chance to not kill) for ex.
man is not true, if rng determinate if you have to win or lose then why there is people with 70% win rate ??? why they dont lose🤷🏻♂️
Nice games, it's great to see you doing it the right way. It's sad that people pay more skilled players to mark their tanks via account sharing. Very dangerous they can lose everything just for some paint on a barrel that they didn't even earn. Starving people and they would rather spend 300 Euros for some small graphics just to impress the small minority of players who even care about such things. 80% or more of WoT players are so casual, they wouldn't even know what a "mark" is or how to get one if you asked them.
Intuition is a vital skill.... unless you are spamming 99% gold

Honestly when you said not to push center early on at 0:28 it’s not always a bad move but requires some peak positioning/cover from your side or a good depress teammate to counter hillpeekers allowing you to potentially halt their advance around and allow rears to get good sightline, in a platoon it can work and can allow for great momentum aggro pushing. But I agree it mostly never works solo. I’m really enjoying your plays man! Making me want to come back from console but modern armour is a blast. Weirdly though there is an odd resurgence of lemming train teams on here though. Great video as usual my man! Penetrate and devastate 💪

Congrats on the 3 mark, pretty big achievement! However, it's sad to think about it to be able to 3 mark a tank one has to spam full gold. As someone who never fires any gold, I just don't like to, this is a tank I wouldn't be able to 3 mark. Not that I have the skill for it in the first place tho lol.
In my opinion the game would be a lot better if they balanced gold rounds. High pen, put half the damage. So their is a drawback to spamming gold. WG would make more profit, as players have to fire twice as much gold to do the same amount of damage. A Maus should be really, really tough to kill from the front, it's the only thing it has going for it. Easily able to flank as it's pretty sluggish.
Try getting to bounce HT-15 with the amount of gold spam today.. One can only dream I guess 😉

Interesting to think that the IS7 is so nearly a Chieftain. If it just had better DPM, it would be like a Chief, or better with that god tier armor and speed. Gun depression would still be a bit of an issue, but it could be made to work.

Honestly, this tank needs to be locked exclusively into tier 10 matchmaking, and even then it needs a nerf
After watching your replays, my conclusion is you are the master of pixel shots
This tank either needs to be nerfed or should only play in Tier X only battles. You have almost no chance against it if you play a Tier VIII tank in Random Battles.
extra points if it's your first battle in the tank (in stock obviously)
Or how about make all reward tanks effectively tier 11 in the matchmaker - so they can still meet tier 9 but they always get matched against eachother. You wouldn't even have to make chieftains meet other chieftains either. A 260 sure isn't broken like the chief but they are driven by generally good players at least
Chief, EBR and 269 should be removed from randoms. Leave them for clan wars or those global events which 0.001% of playerbase plays. This way they don't have to nerf them 🤷♂ and they don't turn random battles into predetermined losses, where your 40% WR heavies just feed 60% Chieftains their HP to boost their ego.

@@silentdon40k the reason they won't nerf them is because of all the complaints they get from people who only enjoy playing when they know they have a built in advantage against the people they are fighting. It's a very common attitude on the RU server and quite common on EU too - people who derive fun not from winning but from knowing the game is rigged in their favor.
So they can't remove them from randoms because that would cause the same complaints as a nerf
Side note about your aim comments in the game with the VZ 55 by the windmill, you seem to have a really good grasp of ping compensation, often you're hitting shots where your server side reticle isn't on a moving cupola, but you hit and deal damage any way. With that in mind, the hacks comments kinda make more sense, especially given that you're on 20 ping and still getting crazy ping compensation. That is probably something wargaming should fix, because it's definitely a disproportionate amount of compensation relative to your ping. Don't hate the player, hate the game though 😁

1) Put the Chieftain in the bond shop for a ridiculous amount.
2) Wait for enough people to buy it.
3) Nerf it.
4) Lower the bond cost because of the nerf.

The fact this tank is unobtainable for most of the playerbase is still a joke in this game. But atleast it seems like they are slowly making it easier to get maybe it will be made to offer one day like the Obj 780 was

Best tank is the 279 btw. All players have better stats with 279. Doesn't matter you are pro or good or bad player. Reason is the 279 have perfect position in every single map. But chief doesn't and get f*ked.

Btw Kajzoo, something funny I noticed with Tier 9 Strv, If you play Chief that has 140MM HE, you can pen its lower plate always, because it has only 139MM of armor...

We havent had a balance patch for almost 3 years. But we get a new premium tank on a monthly base, the future of this game has been clear gor years. Minimum input, maximum output..

They should just give all T95/FV4201 owners the Chieftan Mk 6 or T95/Chieftan as compensation and remove the T95/FV4201 from their garage. It's basically the same tank but with a better gun, and weak spots.

Being a good player means shots like that connect, and you can take them because even if they miss, you don't really worry about the silver cost of shells.
I know those are cherry-picked games, but it is still sad seeing someone so confidently taking shots which always go into the ground or the edge of the track for me, and result in dealing no damage

You must be the only Chieftain player to not just spam pure gold at everything, I'm currently trying to 3 mark my Type 5 Heavy and feel like every tier 10 tank is loaded with just gold, 3 marking the Type 5 has been a horrible experience, I have had many games without blocking a single shot of damage, it feels like the tank is made out of weak spots while I seem to be unable to penetrate Chieftains anywhere when they are on a ridgeline.

its hard to mark it because its easy to get does damage numbers with a overpowered tank, this tank and obj 279e should exist in this game, if i ever get that tank its easy mode.
You still need skill because a chieftain and 279e get focused to hell so if you don't know what you are doing you'll die first. Don't be that cocky 279e that holds W thinking they are immortal because you'll see an AE Phase 1 who'll pump 340mm HEAT into your hull which if unangled will go through every time

Having the chieftan sucks. Used to enjoy game got tanks like chief and 279 grinder so much for them and all my games in em end up either doing amazing or being pushed and attempted tk or whole gems focusing. Only use these tanks for clan stuff if needed. Prefer to stick to 9 and below as tier X is terrible now.
