I love watching people doing their groceries cos I`m a bit obsessed with doing groceries myself. Different stores, different products. Spolining myself sometimes, hehe :)

okay this is great to know!! I will keep doing them, I justify the expensive super markets sometimes by thinking it’s more cost effective to cook a nice meal at home than go out to eat right 😅

I can relate 100% . Grocery shopping is my favorite thing in the world..
I think as we get older eating out is less frequent and less exiting so grocery hauls take on whole. New meaning trying find more special meals and products to compensate.
St albans is lovely! Just a word of caution, I commute there from london and the trains can be quick when you look at them but in reality they are always delayed / often have cancellations etc! Also the price increases every year are quite significant. Not to be negative but just if it’s helpful 😊
Ahh yes thank you for letting me know, I’ve heard some horror stories about it tbh! It would be quite tricky with me commuting 4 days per week I think you’re right I will have to do some more research about it for sure! ❤️🙏 thanks for the heads up that’s really helpful xx

Ahh that is so kind thank you so much! I wouldn’t say I have a favourite utensil as I really need to buy a food processor, I’m loving making things from my ottolenghi cook books but spend so much time chopping because I don’t have a processor, so that’s definitely on my list! In terms of helping me clean I need to try some of ‘The Pink Stuff’ a lot of people have said that works so well too! Maybe I’ll do a kitchen haul and show you guys some cleaning bits and the food processor when I get it!

Went to London over the weekend and thanks to you, I went to buns from home! Oh my goodness, what a treat that was - i'll definitely be going back :). Didn't go to Liberty, unfortunately, which is a must stop for me - hopefully next time. I also have that Clarins body lotion - its so light but works so well. I understand "rich lady smell" vibes ha ha - goals! Thanks for the upload :).

hi jess! i have never left a youtube comment but i feel so compelled to leave you one. i'm watching your videos from most recent and backwards because i came across your channel randomly about 3-4 days ago and I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! the supermarket hauls are so great to watch because i get to suss out what i should buy too! i just moved to london from overseas and i'm in my early 30s too and i'm looking for a job (and thinking about what my life in london will eventually be like) and your videos give me so much hope that perhaps life here will be calm, cozy and enjoyable 💕

Only recently discovered your channel and living it.
I'm quite a bit older with kids/ husband and dog we live very different lives.
But my younger self advice would be based on your lovely social vlogs is don't be rush move to suburbs before you have to.
I think wait until rates come down which could well be end of 2024/ 2025 and think house prices will drop a little..
I too live food shops. Adore waitrose but there's not a branch near me and have stricter budget these days all I cam say about kids is they never stop eating and cost a fortune.
Can I be nosy and ask how much you spend on grocery per week or month some of your meals look super yummy.
That’s kind of you to leave a comment with such good advice, I know exactly what you mean we are definitely at that point of wondering whether we do another year or go for it now so that’s really helpful to hear! Rates being so high just makes it so expensive at the minute to get a mortgage!
Of course, I think we probably realistically spend roughly £80 per week on groceries which includes things like wine and treats for the weekend! Xx
@jessicamoonharris I know London/ South East very different property market and prices. I live in Bristol and ours is bonkers as many moved here from London. I follow a guy on you tube called moving home with Charlie he seems give sensible advice. Our mortgage went up in Jan as fixed term ended and its painful paying so much more! do think rates will drop just not sure if this year as UK economy seems pretty gloomy.
Your flat seems lovely amazing garden.£80 is less than I thought but guess you eat out too and I have separate eating out budget. I'm trying get down to £100 per week for 6 people and it's a struggle as food keeps going up.

It’s definitely on my list, omg lol Dune was so longgg wasn’t it eeek I think it’s just not my taste as everyone else I was with was like that was the best movie ever 😂 Ahh are you from Germany? ❤️ gorgeous place I haven’t ever been, Berlin is definitely somewhere I want to try for a city break! Waitrose is the best they have so many delish things, although little bit expensive it’s definitely a treat!

right? There is not enough content like this. Girls mostly have their own businesses/ do content creation full-time... She is sooo down to Earth and easy-going, and many can deffo relate.

I live in Hatfield and find the commute can be much quicker but also so much more expensive (with a railcard its approx £14 per day for a return ticket, without a railcard you're looking at £20+!) - if only train prices were reasonable in this country hahaha.

Brilliant thank you will definitely pick up the effaclar moisturiser I'm always on the look out for recommendations of skin care, it can be so tricky to filter through all of the new launches and ads for it all! Love Clarins too! its expensive for me but I still feel its reasonable for what it is/how much product you get. I hated Dune, well for different reasons but it is very Orientalist if you come from an Arabic background you can not possibly ignore the racist aesthetics and cultural references
Yeah I agree to be fair I got that bottle from my mum haha, at least it’s a large one it’s lasted ages! Ouch really that adds a whole other side to it then, I just thought the story wasn’t really up my street and the worms (?!) but agree that must be a hard watch for those reasons too! Xx

Dune sucked for so many reasons. The main character was awful and the story is misogynistic.
