I'm stuck here in Chicago USA, renting a cheap 1-room apartment (US$1200/mo) in a dirty, horrible neighborhood...saving my money waiting for when I can go back to Penang. I lived at Straits Quay in 2016/2017 so that's the area I know best but I'm checking out waterfront buildings in other areas. Thanks for the apartment tour and enjoy all that space!

Blame the people who selfish enough to go cross district and state while we in MCO. Blame the part of the goverment who release tons of permission paper to reopen during a lockdown. Also he didn't even say anything about 9k being low. You just over reacting. What do you mean you can't come home over a year. The goverment still let MALAYSIAN in even the border is close for international?

The mosque downstairs (Masjid Al Bukhary) is gorgeous, should check it out once the MCO is lifted. Could still see it from outside the compound though.
This plot of land was deliberately reserved for the building of the mosque by the current Penang State Government when the private developers reclaims these lands. Too bad some people from other political parties like to make fake propaganda claims that the Penang State Government are anti-Muslims and that mosques are not allowed to operate in Penang.

Maybe you can make a comparison video based on price of all the places that you have stayed. For example, USD20 can get you what type of accommodation in different countries. Can compare based on price, facilities, comfort, view etc. That would be nice to see 😁

Yes,enjoy yourself for you are doing so well finding such a beautiful place for so cheap.I remember staying the same place 2 years ago when visiting & enjoying it very much.There are a lot of places to eat here although they are not that cheap.Do try & see if the Starbucks at Tg Tokong are open as the Beach is just in front & you can walk on the soft sands that are just pure heaven.Good Luck to you & also remember to take care of your health!

Stay here for 5 day, sleep in a different bed every night, then you never need to make a bed up :)) When the lady opened the window, so high up, my legs turned to jelly !! Only been to Malaysia for one short trip, its an amazing place. Westerners should consider Malaysia instead of Thailand, much more interesting with great people. Westerners like thailand because of the sex tourism!!! In Malaysia its a lil bit less!!! & Not freely making "PUSH UP" 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭 and not all over the place like in Thailand!!! Thats why thailand & indonesia more famous to westerners compare to Malaysia, & ones more Malaysia's Chicks always imported!!! So less local chicks.
I will have to disagree. Thailand and Indonesia are both beautiful counties to visit, have very affordable food and accommodation. Climate is also similar compared to Malaysia. Thailand and Indonesia promote tourism more.. Malaysia has it all it but needs more promotion..

In Malaysia. If you have 2 bedrooms apartment it will be for 4 person or more. We dont charge per person like in Europe.
