The NIU game continues to confound people. People just can’t wrap their head around the idea ND didn’t take that game seriously and that isn’t gonna happen in a playoff game.
I agree with the notion that this is a bad time for Ohio State to be hosting a playoff game, and that the Buckeyes would be better served going on the road and working from a bunker mentality. Win-or-else expectations already have the team on edge to a distracting degree, and home fans will have little patience if things go wrong early. I see Tennessee pulling the upset and heading to the Rose Bowl.
Absolutely correct about NFL team culture. Still gotta have jimmies and joes, but culture can give you the little edge, and a little bit is the difference in many games in the nfl and cfb.
It would be interesting to see you develop a chaos factor for cfb. Media loves to promote the teams that recruit the portal the best, which is just who gets the most and some extent the highest ranked players. What’s the negative score?
Well, Josh keeps the old saying about Oregon going. Oregon can't win the National Championship. Thought he would at least give them the benefit of the doubt. He doesn't even think we should get credit for what the Ducks have accomplished. I didn't think I would here that from him. Now Im wondering if I want to continue to watch his show. Hope your happy Josh..
Very delusional and predictable. Georgia is so good they don't need a functioning quarterback to win the whole thing. Ok, I obviously need to get some of that zevia he is drinking.
At least he's on record. And will get clowned of anything other than what he says happens. I don't see you countering with your own prediction. Just judgment.
Belichick was born in 1952, 72 years ago. He has a .454 winning percentage & 85-102 record without Brady. He's never coached in college and has been in the NFL since 1975. His girlfriend is probably still in college though.
I can't quote the source as I can't remember which app I was on. I saw an individual use the BCS algorithm to slot the top 12 for the playoff bracket and slotted everyone in a spot.
Stockton is a very highly rated QB and not super young. He has taken reps in this system for years. I agree ND has to stop the running game but watch out for Frazier. He is the better back. I still think UGA wins by 2 scores at least, and wins it all. That team is 53-4 in the last 4 seasons and has the best coach by FAR in the country. They are used to these games and they will be doubted with a backup QB, and they always show up when they are doubted.
it was a terrible situation for Jackson Arnold. he didn't help himself with the turnovers and getting spooked with that shaky offensive line. Injured running backs, injured recievers, and constant change on the o line. The coordinator was fired mid season. He was able to have some improvement running the ball at the end of the season, have to give him that.
I think the UGA take is solid. The rest of the team can rise to overperform because of playing 2nd string qb. The concept itself definitely wouldnt work if your team is a roster where the qb is the team, say my 2010 Auburn tigers. If Cam went down it would have been a miracle to win by other means on offense. So agreed because the depth at all positions rising to the occasion works for the situation.
Bama fan here, I say that to say this: Kirby Smart system and Georgia was built to win playoff games and championships. I believe you put either one of those quarterbacks in there and they will win. Beat Notre Dame that is. And Kirby learned it from the best, coach saban
Go to the Army-Navy game!!!! It is everything that is good about college football, seeing the cadets and midshipmen march onto the field is unlike anything else in sports
We just want to hear college football talk, vast majority of us don't want gas cards or glass cups. This is my opinion of course. Make your salary and leave money out of it, don't need money to tell me to enjoy what I've been enjoying since I was old enough to watch a football game. Just like college gameday making the centerpiece of it's presentation about a kick for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Bro what’s going on with Arkansas is crazy. Coach retained, fans are pissed about that, recruiting has been horrible never higher than 10 in conference under their coach, 79 of their 86 recruits from 2020-2023 have transferred out. They’re losing their best returning players, 24 plays in the transfer portal this season alone most in the SEC. The ADs phone number got leaked and they start blowing him up to fire Sam Pittman. Wild shit.
Dane Key would look great in a gamecocks uniform. He was recruited by Greg Adkins and Justin Stepp. Stepp is now at Illinois which means the citrus bowl could be big for Key.
MR. PATE. I am a die-hard Notre Dame fan, therefore, as far as I'm concerned, Notre Dame is gonna roll on everybody, Leanard will, by an Act of God, become a legend, Jeremiyah Love is already a legend, and Freeman will get a statue and forever live with honor... That being said, if I was an unbiased observer I feel the SAME exact way about Georgia. It is a mentality. It is a program. If I was a betting man, and not an Irish faithful, I would put all my money on them winning the championship this year. And it's even an off year with them. I don't think they would be playing Texas, but I've watched all of like 1 and a half games of theirs.
If I’m Jackson Arnold I’m headed up north somewhere, Notre dame, Syracuse, Pitt,West Virginia. No way in hell I’m playing 7 top 25 teams at miss state in a comeback year.
I’m a buckeye fan. This year is Georgia team reminds me of the 2014 Ohio State team because our starting quarterback went down and we went on the winner national title and I think Georgia might do the same thing this year.
i like the concept but the conferences are so big, it could still get finished with tie breakers and that's why I say to think about reinstituting divisions so we can get all the teams in divisions to play each other. Make it four divisions for the SEc not to be started until oct 1st for in division play. Think about it

Or
Ryan Day is fired before leaving the stadium?
The NIU game continues to confound people. People just can’t wrap their head around the idea ND didn’t take that game seriously and that isn’t gonna happen in a playoff game.
That’s because ND hasn’t done jack in almost 40 years
@willis5605 the favorite to win the title has never won a title ever
So vanderbilt and oklahoma
@willis5605 weak argument. Do better. There's Only 3 teams thats been in multiple playoffs and ND is one of them
@@WillGettinToIt does multiple include 2?? My longhorns second year.
What a relief! You changed your UGA v ND pick. How many ND picks did you have that were incorrect?
5:56 Texas v Clemson, this would be the best win for either team. The quick confidence is wild for Texas. Going to be a much closer game
Keep betting against ND JP. (One of these times you may be right.)
This year’s Washington?
Hope your happy Josh..
texas hasn’t beat a top 25 team this year btw
I think there will be a rematch too, but Texas takes it and finally plays a clean game.
My heart says Tennessee OSU because I’m a Vol. But my mind says PSU vs SMU. The atmosphere would be crazy
All sec finals, of course I expected you to think that.
Sec bias lol
I can't quote the source as I can't remember which app I was on. I saw an individual use the BCS algorithm to slot the top 12 for the playoff bracket and slotted everyone in a spot.
I love being a underdog make tennessee reach deeper down to prove everyone wrong
I think if ND can keep pressure on a young QB and shut down Etienne, ND has a chance. But this game is gonna be INSANELY close
@@Master_Taurus0425🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣you crazy if you think the game will go like that
ND better beat indiana first
How do you come from behind in a 6-3 ballgame lol
Very easily.
Go to Tennessee and Ohio game.
I love the “could win instead of has won” argument for SEC teams.
Recruits go to Boise State, if you like winning, and doing damage in the CFP, and doing Heisman things
The other facet that allows players to enter the portal “late” is coaching changes.
it was a terrible situation for Jackson Arnold. he didn't help himself with the turnovers and getting spooked with that shaky offensive line. Injured running backs, injured recievers, and constant change on the o line. The coordinator was fired mid season. He was able to have some improvement running the ball at the end of the season, have to give him that.
Go to the IU/ND game.
Way too cold for SEC Josh
Doubt the Buckeyes at your cost
Heard the same before the Michigan game 😂😂😂
Josh added a little picante on that Concepcion after the Castellanos snafu 😂😂😂
Josh, you might put that blue Pate State Rug on your market site if you have one. It's on the wall, behind you
Sadly, I agree with you for the reasons you mentioned.
"No one came in my ear....immunity"
That's gotta be top 5 all time.
Great call Josh lol ! Go DAWGS 💪🏾
Josh Pate JINX in full affect, i hope we still win it 😅
I know! He know how superstitious we are and did this shit on purpose I’m convinced
Bama fan here, I say that to say this: Kirby Smart system and Georgia was built to win playoff games and championships. I believe you put either one of those quarterbacks in there and they will win. Beat Notre Dame that is. And Kirby learned it from the best, coach saban
He got a call from the man in black after Sunday’s show and he had to change his whole life🤣
Texas -14.5 is easy money to bet against lol. Their offense won't be able to get past 28, and AZ state has more than enough firepower to keep up.
Oh yeah I’d take that upset all day
AZ state hasn’t faced a defense like Texas
Clemson beats Texas
Clemson beats Texas
Gotta go to the UT OSU game
Go to the Army-Navy game!!!! It is everything that is good about college football, seeing the cadets and midshipmen march onto the field is unlike anything else in sports
What happened to Academy being the only ad read?
Greed
Afraid it's only the beginning
He has a secret sponsorship from ESPN/SEC
Been doing the gas station for months now
We just want to hear college football talk, vast majority of us don't want gas cards or glass cups.
SEC IS LIKE THE HALL OF JUSTICE!! The SUPERFRIENDS will put an end to the Big 10 and Sign Stealer Guy and their dastardly Plans. 🤣🤣🏆
If I’m Jackson Arnold I’m headed up north somewhere, Notre dame, Syracuse, Pitt,West Virginia. No way in hell I’m playing 7 top 25 teams at miss state in a comeback year.
You better be at OSU vs UT
I get UGA will have their backup playing but why would Texas be favored in the hypothetical ship, given the previous 2 games?
I’m a buckeye fan. This year is Georgia team reminds me of the 2014 Ohio State team because our starting quarterback went down and we went on the winner national title and I think Georgia might do the same thing this year.
i like the concept but the conferences are so big, it could still get finished with tie breakers and that's why I say to think about reinstituting divisions so we can get all the teams in divisions to play each other. Make it four divisions for the SEc not to be started until oct 1st for in division play. Think about it
Josh, the obvious answer is for you to go to Indiana at Notre Dame on Friday night. The battle for Indiana Supremacy. Then once that game is over. Take a 4ish hour drive to Columbus to see if Ryan Day can rally the Buckeyes against a under rated Tennessee team. And on the drive you’ll have to stop at one Quick Trip along the way!
Josh really could make it to 3 games out of the 4. Go to ND, Fly to Penn St catch the moon kick off, fly to CBus catch the 8pm Kickoff.
I think he’d need a private jet to make that itinerary in and out of beaverville.
