Just picked one up at ARC on Senior Day for $5. I'm really excited to try it! It should be great to take in our RV that doesn't have an oven.

I live in an RV and this Ninja is the perfect thing to make meals in. I love it and recommend it to all my friends. My suggestion is to buy it from QVC in order to get all the extras for the same price you can get it at the store.

Bought this at a yardsale for 5 dollars, it's great for soups and chilli. I had no idea it could do other stuff, like this steam roast thing. I got to get a chicken. Tomorrow will be ribs for sure

I am on the search for a new slow cooker. I do love to cook. But with a 17 month old and due September I like this one. Checking around though, not a fan of the price.

When using fresh or homemade pasta how much water and time would you do on the ninja cooker

I just bought one of these on clearance. I think I can do the exact same thing in a single pan just like in the ninja. The pasta they cook can be done in one pan on the stovetop. We will see if this thing is worth it.

+AmyLearnsToCook It is worth it. get some crock pot receipes and start slow cooking your food. it is awesome and it shuts off when you it done and keeps your food warm.

Is there an online guide? Been trying to figure how long to cook a whole chicken…is it the same time as an oven or no?

I've been a fan of Ninja products for 10 years and I've owned several of their blenders including the 1200 Pro. So forgive me when I ask: Isn't this just a glorified Dutch Oven that can do it all too for half the price? I saw the infomercial for the Ninja Cooking system but my Lodge Enameled Cast Iron 6 Quart Dutch Oven (or 8 qt non-enameled) does everything that this electric cooker does with a couple of accessories like a shallow rack & deep fry basket/round baking pan/etc..
