  • Shrink tires 6:1, or make ready to fill with dirt. No water trap and mosquito breeding. We made this one from hardware store parts: castors, rollers, pillow block bearings, plywood, a drill, and bicycle sprockets. It does take some finesse to use, but it is way faster than a knife by hand.

      Cheap but good quality pawnshop drills are cheap.

      And not if you use a low rpm drill it has the torque and there is no lateral stress on the drill in this design. I think that’s an excellent power source. $10 in pillow blocks, 1/2” drill (low rpm) Canadian tire puts them in sale for under $60 annually. Scrap metal, rollers etc. - all in $100! The idea PRICELESS!
