Love the clarity of Fazioli. I wonder how "old" this Fazioli is? You mentioned that Juilliard owned this piano for the last 3 years. And also, why would they replace its hammers? if it is only 3 years, the hammers may still in good shape. Thanks
Great question! Because Fazioli loaned the piano to Juilliard for it's first three years, Fazioli wanted to prep it again before making it available for resale. It is a credit to the Fazioli Family and their determination to provide the best instrument possible, and they wanted the F278 to be in its most pristine condition before arriving to its next location. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to acquire this wonderful Concert Grand!
@@hsfpiano1989 It is our understanding that Juilliard was very impressed with the Fazioli line, and has since purchased multiple Fazioli grands. Thank you for your questions and if you are ever in our area we welcome you to come in and try out these beautiful instruments!
It's because it gets 'hammered' by music students 7 days a week. You can usually pick up ex-conservatory pianos for a steal , but there's a reason for that... !
I have a F156 and it’s a miracle.
I have a f308 and it is a magnificent instrument.

@@jasone.530 thank you for your reply. Does Juilliard decide to buy one after 3 years having the Fazioli? They should have got one at least....

So Juilliard sold /gave it back/ or just got rid of it after only 3 years?
Maybe because they want to be an All-Steinway school perhaps?

Or more likely nothing will ever sound as beautiful as a perfectly regulated and correctly voiced Steinway
